Fun visit for the kids but not what it once was. Decent breakfast at country cafe, fun for the kids riding the train and playing with the ducks and chickens, great place to shop at the Weed Patch and a couple of other interesting stores to browse.

We have been shopping here every Christmas since the 1980s, but often the spring. Businesses change over the years. Great place to walk and shop. In recent years, eateries unimpressive, so, we usually have breakfast or lunch at Elizabeth and Alexander located just outside and south of the village. Admit to being glad that a new Ivar's has opened south... More

We have had tea in many tea houses but we always come back here. It is such a fun place for a special time with family or friends and their lemon scones are to die for!

I'm not really sure how many of the shops stay open, but it's a fun place to walk around. The playground is really old, but my son loves seeing the chickens wandering around. The Italian restaurant Vivendo is the best restaurant there. The Village Bean is a fun coffee shop where kids can play, but it gets super crowded and... More

Fun place to look around. Fun to bring my Grandkids to walk around the area. There area variety of chickens wandering the parking lot, and creek area.

Went specifically to go to a quilting shop (Keepsake Cottage Fabrics) and discovered that it was located in this very quaint historical village. The shops were vairied and not busy like the usual Mall stores at Christmas time. Next door was another shop with amazing Christmas home decor, The Weed Patch. Will go again when we have more time to... More

We went here for our Grand daughters 4th birthday party. She invited a number of her little friends and her family to participate in the little train ride that goes around the village. Cost is 3.50 and it was fun for the kids. They also enjoyed the children's outside play area nearby. Good experience.

The shops are quaint and each seems to carry a different assortment of items, making it worthwhile to explore each one. We got some charms and beads at the bead shoppe, some delicious teas at the tea shoppe, various gifts at several of the other shops, and my friend got a unique sculpture by the Artist Dennis Brown (famous for... The stores here are fun to visit but there just aren't enough to make it worth the drive for us. There is a fun tea shop here too but it is very spendy.
