The idea of walking all the way around a "lake" did not seem possible to this arthritic walker, but it's 3+ mile distance was a personal challenge. It gains a few feet in elevation on the far side of the lake, but it is doable and if not, one can always turn around and go back. There is one handicap... More

Lake Padden has a walk all around the lake that I believe is 2.6 miles in total. Always walkers, runners or cyclist there daily. There is also fishing (in season) and not far off Lake Padden Golf Course, which is a beautiful 18 hole course.

The path is great, wide and well used. There are many off shoots for horse trail access, trial runners, mountain bikes, and the leisure walkers. Some moderate hills and gravel path. Beautiful views of the mountains, good birding and a nice healthy activitiy.

I loved Lake Padden - it had just snowed lightly the night before and the trees were dusted white all through the foothills and around the lake. The forest is mature mix of conifers and maples with lush ferns. The lake is large and yet pristine, and open with clean clear waters. There is a wide mostly graveled trail of 2.8... More

Great place to walk, run, cycle, kayak, swim, all on the same visit. I often ride my bike on the great trails around the lake then put in my kayak and go for a paddle and a seim. The swim is not always planned! If it is not good weather for the lake, the trails are always good. Restrooms and... More

I go to Padden all of the time to go for a run. The trail around the lake is 2.6 miles, and makes for a great evening, afternoon, or morning run. Even when there is an event going on it is still pretty chill overall, and makes for a wonderful time! There is no bad view of the lake, and... More

Relatively easy 2.6 mile trail that loops a fresh water lake. Trail winds into deep forest of Douglas Fir, Hemlock, Cedar; slight inclines on South side to picturesque views. Flat easy walk on North side next to lake. Great activity to clear ones mind and get some healthy exercise and fresh air. Picnic tables and benches and kids play zone... More

Beautiful park with lots of family options. Floating, swimming, picnicking, you name it! Covered areas for shade lovers and plenty of sunny spots too.
