Lake Padden is a well known and well loved park for locals and travelers alike. If you want a good spot by the water you'll need to get there early. If your just looking for a grassy place to lay out and have a BBQ you can pretty much come when ever you like, you might have to do a... More

The lake is charming and lovely and lots of trails. The best walk is around the lake with lots of natural variety and serenity.

Didn't go there this visit, but has great walking path around the entire lake and a nice beach and picnic area. Good for families. Swimming.

This place is very well set up with tons of parking and a trail all around the entire lake, it's very pretty and the fenced off dog area has one for large and another separate one for small breed dogs. It's fantastic and very well cared for. Bathrooms and little bbq's around the lake are nice too!

wonderful park with a beautiful lake, would be so nice if dogs could be off leash. But it is a very nice place to have a picnic and just enjoy the lake and relax.

Lake Padden is my go-to. Beautiful, serene and wonderful. You can walk all around the lake for excercise or just fun. On a sunny day, the lake is inviting for swimming, canoeing or kayaking. There are picnic areas and a playground for kids. Best kept secret.

If the sun is shining and you want to go for a lake swim or a nice walk. Padden park is the answer. I think it is about three miles around the lake with a gentle climb on the far side. The scenery is fine and everything is well kept.

Bring food, or don't. Bring the dog, or don't. Go for a walk around the Lake (about two and a half miles), or don't. Fish for trout while you're here, or don't. Maybe, just sit back and enjoy a gorgeous day--for that, there's no "or don't" option. If you're here, you won't be able to help yourself. Wish it were... More
