This is a fun place to walk around and enjoy your day. There are a ton of neat shops along the main road, and the old town streets have some fun, old buildings there. It has consignment shops, restaurants, pottery, glasswork... tons of fun stuff. There's even a trail off to the side that leads out to a lakeview. Very... More

I was hoping for a quaint, quiet, old fashioned place full of historic buildings and local arts and food. . . so near Seattle, silly me. It is very built up and not at all quiet, or quaint. However it is a clean safe place to while away a little time. I would say more for the 20-30 crowd than... More

Our third visit to Fairhaven. Always enjoyable. Great shops - visit the bookstore which encourages you to sit down and read while there. Good range of restaurants. My son-in-laws favourite audio equipment shop in WA State. Do the walk along the seafront to Woods cafe. A lovely way to spend half a day or a whole day.

The boardwalk was great for a stroll along the bay. Don't miss a ggod book with lunch and a view at the local bookstore.

Great variety of restaurants- try Skylark Cafe and Acme Ice Cream. Funky shops, historic buildings, interesting people, very artsy. Awesome old bookstore!

I grew up in Bellingham and was sad to see the Fairhaven area suffer its ups and downs. It is so nice to see thriving shops and restaurants, I only hope it continues. The Village green is fun - you can watch movies there in the summer. It's hard to go wrong with any of the restaurants or hotels here

Just came back from a Daddy-daughter day. Fairhaven is an 1hr drive South from Vancouver or North from Seattle. It offers great food, shopping and strolling. Rocket Donuts is a must stop!!! Their 10" monsters will feed the whole family :). If your a runner or cyclist you will find both a great running shop and bike shop 1 block... More

I love visiting Fairhaven. It is a must stop whenever we are driving by. Book stores, craft stores, interurban trail. What more can I say
