This place not only has great movies, but a nice selection of wine and beer. If you get the popcorn, don't forget to add some salt at the seasoning counter- if you don't you might be disappointed.

The Pickford and The Limelight have the best non-mainstream films you can find between Seattle and Vancouver. I live an hour away, but I still drive to Bellingham once or twice a month to see a film here. The Pickford is in a brand new location, which is perfect for movie viewing. The rows of seats are steeply canted, so... More

The newly remodeled Pickford has the same great selection of unusual and arty films with comfortable seating and a great sound system. The new lounge area offers a wide selection of treats made locally and even a glass of wine. It's the best choice for movie buffs!

This is our new favorite place! We love the unique films they select to show and they now have two theaters within walking distance of each other. The theaters are small and the seats are soft and comfortable. You can even get a beer or some wine as you relax and enjoy the flick. I wish all theaters operated like... More

Good films in this little independent theatre. If you're passing through Bellingham and in the mood for a good film, chances are this is your place. It's expensive to get in if you're not a member (I am comparing their prices to other small art theatres prices in other cities-expect NYC or SF obviously), but chances are you won't be... More

Unlike the chains, this place caters to people more than cattle. I love the smaller theaters and the less mainstream atmosphere. I have seen some great movies here that otherwise may not have come to town.

Even if you come from out of town and don't have a membership, this theater makes you feel like you belong and will enjoy the pleasure of movie goers company.

My wife and I have been members of this theater almost since it opened. Here you can see those films seldom seen at the AMC and Regency mega theaters plaguing our cities. Here small films, indies and even big studio films considered to have too small a draw for the cineplexes are shown in intimate theaters. You can buy a... More

This is the little movie theater that could. Started locally, the center was originally in a very small space with second-hand seats--BUT, it always shows those "little" films that adults like (not many car chases or huge explosions). We've been members for years, even through the growing pains. It's a real treasure

The Pickford Theater opened a year ago and quickly became our favorite. They show films we want to see such as foreign and independent along with at least one opera from Europe each month. The downtown location is handy and we always find street parking on the weekends. Films are shown in two theaters. Snacks and wine available. Rates are... More
