The Pickford film center has great digital projection and and amazing sound system. Jump away from the cineplex of the same old, same old, and head to the Pickford for the interesting, unique, and different. Both locations (Limelight and Main) are great with superb seating and sound.

The Pickford is the best place to catch off beat art and foreign films - no blockbusters here. Attracts an urbane followoing of locals who appreciate the eco friendly community feel. Highly recommended

The new Pickford theatre shows very high quality films. The building is new, the seats are super comfortable, and they serve beer, wine and great snacks in the lobby. The volunteer staff is always friendly. Great place to support!

Great selection of movies that are not modern hollywood. Well worth $10, we got a great speaker before the film who set the atmosphere for a classic film. Sponsored by a local film group and local small businesses. I would recommend over any modern multipex Hollywood theatre that pumps out anything as long as it has no substance and lots... More

This is a place to go for good and unsual films and foreign films. There are two theaters, the newer one is very nice, has two theaters. The seats in the older one are not comfortable. If you buy a membership, there is discount for ticket each time you buy. There is a food counter (popcorn, candies, baked goods, and... More

A true haven for film buffs. Documentaries, indie films, foreign masterpieces: they do it all, and the new theaters are outstanding in terms of comfort and amenities offered. It's so wonderful that I'm ashamed I don't go more often. Bless you, Pickford, for being there, for providing information and entertainment for people who like to THINK. XO XO XO

A very pleasant little movie house that plays the very best of independent films, documentaries, and film festival winners. Frequent visits by the filmmakers and other special events. Also operates a sister theater, the Limelight, that plays the more "out there" experimental and offbeat films. A real and very welcome alternative to the mainstream movies shown at the new Regal... Everything about Pickford is outstanding. In an age of impersonal multiplexes with a plastic feel and high ticket prices, this is a three screen gem (two screens in one building, one in another). The main two-screen theater is a lovingly restored 19th century brick building, retrofitted for earthquake resistance. Only the best domestic and foreign motion pictures and documentaries make... This is a relatively new theater in down town Bellingham that shows mainly independent films. It's wonderfully designed, has great food and beverages (yes, you can drink legally in one of the rooms!). It's community supported and we are lucky to have it here in our town.
