The community and membership owned two screen independent theater was built over about a decade by donations and grants and is now a very modern and enjoyable venue. It is the only place in town where you will find the better, more intelligent or critically acclaimed movies that aren't usually played at the corporate behemoth Regal 16 screen site at... More

We are so lucky to have a high quality independent theater here in Bellingham. The building is beautiful and always clean. Parking is fairly easy to find but leave yourself some time for that. The variety of drama, documentary, foreign, political, classic films is extremely well balanced. I'm happy to visit the Pickford at least once a month and sometimes... More

We seldom go to the movie theater, but when we do it's to the Pickford. I love the atmosphere and the fact that I can drink a beer while I watch a movie!

Viewed two movies this week, "Tracks" and "Pride". Indie films many people in the U.S.will never see because they don't have access to them nor do they have a theater like the Pickford. Mainstream films keep us inside our box, when we think out of our box that's when we grow. I joined our family; up to 5 names are... More

Love the new venue. Seating allows everyone to see the screen. The seats are comfy and spacious. The concessions are yummy and of a much higher quality than the commercial theaters. The venue is well-ventilated and air-conditioned in the summer, and the staff is just spot-on. Friendly, helpful, involved and opinionated. And, of course, the Pickford hosts human rights festivals,... More

The Pickford is a fabulous treasure in Bellingham. They show a variety of films on a wide range of topics. The atmosphere is wonderful and this has become one of my favorite places since having moved here 2 years ago. Definitely consider a membership to support the theater, it will be something that delights you over and over and you... More

We have enjoyed several movies now at the PFC, and are amazed that it is not better known in the area. We travel down from Point Roberts, so it is almost an hour away from where we live, but the movie selection is worth the trip, and the staff and volunteers are great. Highly recommended!

Love this quaint little theater. They show mostly indie films. The seats are comfortable and love that you can add a glass of wine if you want.

If you're into independent films or movies that provoke your mind and your heart, this is the place to see them. The remodeled revival theater is a gem.

Superb venue for film lovers. Great movie selection, very comfortable seats, silent and respectful audience, great wine, munchies and popcorn. I always go to whatever is showing, I know it will be either very good or unforgettable.
