We have lived in Bellingham for 9 yrs, but this was our first San Juan cruise that didn't leave out of Anacortes. Compared to the mass hordes traveling to Anacortes in the summer, leaving from the Fairhaven Ferry terminal was awesome! We found free parking on the street, a short walk from the terminal. We've taken many trips with San Jaun Cruises over the years and keep going back for a reason...the Captains and crew are wonderful, not to mention the scenery on the trips. Let's not forget the office staff, booking is always a breeze. Overall a wonderful company that takes you to wonderful locations around the beautiful San Juan Islands and takes... More

Just returned from the trip to Victoria. The boat holds about 130 people the captain said, although our group of total passengers was 34 that day. I took the Victoria Star in September 2009 and had the greatest trip. There is a certain old-fashioned feel to travelling this way that made it quite fun. The crew on both the outbound and return trips were excellent. The captains were knowledgable and shared info about local history and ecology. On the outbound trip, we saw many, many Orcas.... More
