Beautiful, green park with nice play equipment for the kids, sand beach and path surrounding the park. BBQ grills and covered shelter. 300 ft dock over the water. It gets busy and parking can be difficult to find on the weekend, but it's a great place during the week. We've seen huge bald eagles sitting in the tree tops. After... More

The water is clean and not all that deep. There are 2 roped off swimming areas with life guards. There is a large lawn area on which to sit and a playground for younger children. The swim area is protected by a break water type wall. There are picnic tables as well. There is not a lot of parking but... More

Went there for family outing.. a little rainy but for us coming from parched Southern California, it felt wonderful! Great fun with kids, beautiful park on the lake. And not too crowed. Very nice walking trail too.

Can be hard to find the first time, but well worth it. Like how the parking is at the very back and then the beach and picnic area seem so separate from it. Has an enclosed swimming area that is nice as well as playground equipment, picnic site and grills. Eagles nest in this area so that is special too!

A great place for families to enjoy the water, frolic in the sun, picnic, play volleyball, or just let the little ones learn to ride bikes or scooters. Nice, even path goes all the way around the little park. Parents can see their kids from anyplace on the grassy lawn. Lifeguards on duty in summer. Dogs are not allowed after... More

I ran into the Newcastle beach park while running from the Mercer Slough park along Coal Creek parkway. I hit the Washington lake loop trail and close by was the park. The park is very well maintained, the restrooms are clean, the grass is trimmed and it is a fun place for families and kids. For serious runners/bikers, the park... More

This a wonderful family place. It features swings and a play area away from the beach where young visitors can play safely. The beach is close to free parking and quite level. Restroom facilities are handy, as well. Weekends in the summer are very busy, but not now. It is a peaceful place for a walk with beautiful Lake Washington... More

The Canadian Geese rule! If you don't mind stepping in geese poop with every move forward, then this wouldn't be a bad park. The slides, swings, and the like amuse the young kids, but I spent more time checking my shoes. The low bank beach is nice.

This park is not far from our home. It is right on Lake Washington, has a small beach, swimming area and a nice sized dock. You can rent one of three picnic area's and kids will enjoy the play area or walking loop trail into the woods and along the lake. It has a nice expanse of grass to play... More
