Although people know it as the Bellevue Art Museum, in reality the name is The Bellevue Arts Museum. What makes this museum exceptional is the frequency with which they change exhibits. It really is about craft and design in an extremely thoughtful way. There are three floors of interesting, well curated shows. Don't go if all you like is to... More

It's a small museum with some very interesting exhibits. Free on first Friday of each month. I would not recommend it for families. Staff including the security, store clerks, and reception are extremely rude and quite literally hostile towards families with young kids. More

I have been here a few times, even taken a couple of classes. I am not a modern art fan, that sums it up. More

Entry $10. Normally three levels of art, but the day I was here only two levels were open. One level had a great exhibit the other was just so-so. It was a good time filler, but I think next time I'll call ahead. More

I think it is better to visit the Seattle Art Museum than this one. More

We had a little extra time and since the museum was right next door to our hotel, we decided to venture in. What a find! The current exhibition was titled "Travelers" and one of the artists was SO intriguing to me, but unfortunately I can't remember the name of the artists - there were snow globes and wall hangings that,... I went there on the first Friday of August. It's a public free day, a pleasant surprise to me. It may be the smallest municipal museum I have ever visited, but so many unique and interesting exhibits well displayed with significant themes and subjects! The museum staff are very friendly and very nice, but they seem not much to know... More

The Bellevue Art Museum is very nice, small but definitely worth visiting. Was there in April and saw some great exhibits, wonderfully laid out to make use of the space. Recommended this museum to friends. More

It is a very small museum , but it had really nice and unusual exhibitions which I really enjoyed. Once a month, the entrance is free so it's worth to plan the visit then. The gift store of the museum is also very nice and has items I haven't seen in other museum's gift stores. The only minuses I can... More

I think your review was right on. The ticket sellers are very uninformed, bored, passive and make serious errors in judgment. But just go to the elevator and look at art on floors 2 and 3. Terrific exhibits not seen other places. Definately worth a visit. More
