We love BAM for their remarkable building, designed by award-winning architect and Northwest native Steven Hull. BAM's always thought-provoking craft and design exhibits compel us to visit regularly. Think again if you believe all they do with money in Bellevue is earn it and spend it. BAM's current "Love Me Tender" exhibit of amazingly creative artworks made from coins and... More

I am a lover for classic art and I still dont understand how some things are called art nowadays.. The part of this museum that was worth it was the blown glass exhibition, the rest was weird. If you are looking for sculpture and painting go to Seattle's art museum.

I didn't expect much from the Bellevue Art Museum but was utterly impressed by the quality of the three temporary exhibits. The best was an exhibit title "Love Me Tender", a substantial collection of art based on the use of money as a medium, pasted as collages, cut and sculptured, or welded. The money exhibit was curated locally, but clearly... More

Thought this might be a small, quick walk thru venue. Not so. A multi floor space with contemporary work. A wonderful way to spend a gloomy Washington afternoon.

This is a small museum in the heart of Bellevue, WA. Once inside, it was easy to get around in because there were elevators. The collection was interesting and in general very lively.

This is a smaller museum by comparison to most Art Museum, but delightful and intimate. The hours mirror the shopping district, and parking is tied to the shopping center for your convenience.

The Museum was built by a well known architect and Bellevue invested millions and ended up with a something less then they were dreaming of. A three story building sort of crowded by tall high rises all around. There are several large classrooms and a lecture area, and a three story high central area which sort of underwhelms, not overwhelm,... More

Interesting lively collections -none permanent - of craft/art. Gets little attention; never crowded, always something interesting to see, great gift shop. Located across from Bellevue Square, parking underneath and free.

We have seem a couple of good shows here. The works have been varied and interesting. It is multi-level and quite spacious. The gift shop is well-stocked and tastefully laid out.

Not an art museum, but handwork. Great visiting and rotating exhibits. First Monday of every month is free.
