Nice park. Out of the main bustle of life. The farm is not open all day. Check hours before going. There is a covered benches area intended for parties or large groups.

My daughter had a field trip to Kelsey creek farm and the younger one wanted to visit as well (I guess sibling competition). We got their scooters out so they could ride all the way from parking to the farm. We go there and the staff gave us some guidance on the farm. The kids had a good time learning... More

Lots of animals to see and some to pet. The little ones love it. They have a play area with swings and things to ride. The best part is that it is free. Lots of space for kids to run. A great place for a picnic.

For a special event, like sheep herding, it's fun for kids. Just to walk around on an ordinary weekend, not worth it.

This park has a good structure for kids, and a nice large field to toss the football or Frisbee. There is a great paved path from the park structure around the top of the field to a fabulous barn area with some animals for kids to observe, such as pigs, chickens, goats and horses. There were many families with kids... More

Limited, but interesting assortment of farm animals. Nice grounds. Good place to take kids for a couple of hours or so. Bring a picnic lunch. Tables provided.

Natural setting near downtown, with possibility for teens to volunteer at their animal station. There is a nice park to relax in the green, very peaceful. It is like a small farm in the middle of the city.

This is a great park for families. With all the urban sprawl, getting a taste of farm life is a welcome relief. The seasonal events (sheep shearing in spring and fall harvest) are especially fun. Hiking trails through the property connect to other trails through the city. The summer day camp programs are also top notch.
