This botanical garden is conveniently located not too far from the highway but far enough away that it didn't feel like an urban garden at all. The grounds are very well maintained-- beautiful flowers and plants everywhere. Some of the back loops felt like a manicured hike through the forest, and I definitely preferred the actual flowery garden areas. It... More

It is maintained by the city or county and is free. The flowers and plants were well kept and if you go in late August, you will be treated with large, sweet free range blackberries.

I went here expecting blooming flowers and beautiful gardens. What I found was ok. The signage is bad too ,so you end up going round and round.I ddidn't come across the suspended bridge which people talk about. The trails did not have anything more than a walk in the woods. A nice place to stroll, but dont expect too much.

Hi there, Just to clarify, we have a nice welcome room with interactive touch screens that show our collections and maps of . There are maps available there. Too bad you missed the suspension bridge; it's a short 1/3 walk from the visitor center and worth every step! We currently have some work in progress, and there are some new... More

This is our third visit to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens and each time some improvement has been made! This year's was the completion of the visitor center complex. Included is a large, several section educational center complete with separate water, table and work spaces for children through adults. Courtyard gardens enhance this area plus the Trillium Store, well stocked with... More

This is a little bit of paradise in the middle of city living. With trails leading in and around it there are miles of walking you can do to enjoy nature at its best. Great location for picnics and pictures too!

In the Where magazine in our room there was an interview with a concierge about places he recommends to guests. He said the gardens were his favorite spot so we went and he was right. A couple donated their house, and gardens to the city and then more land was added. Beautiful paths thru giant trees, shrubs and flowers, all... More

The Bellevue botanical garden has been recently renovated. The trails are less than a mile long and are nicely landscaped. For the more serious runners, the lake to lake trail is close by.

The Bellevue Botanical Garden is a lovely place to go, and is probably the best of its kind in Washington state. That said, go north to Vancouver for the very best in the area. Bellevue has improved its garden and expanded enormously over the past several years. Much of the attraction is in the nearby forest. The perennial garden is... More

Our Host in Seattle said, let's visit gardens. Off we went to this Botanical Garden and enjoyed every step of the way from the new building to the many separate garden areas including the beautiful suspension bridge over the sunken river. The flowers were lovely, the walkways attractive and with a sunny day, our experience there was marvelous. We left... More
