In the Where magazine in our room there was an interview with a concierge about places he recommends to guests. He said the gardens were his favorite spot so we went and he was right. A couple donated their house, and gardens to the city and then more land was added. Beautiful paths thru giant trees, shrubs and flowers, all... More

The Bellevue botanical garden has been recently renovated. The trails are less than a mile long and are nicely landscaped. For the more serious runners, the lake to lake trail is close by.

The Bellevue Botanical Garden is a lovely place to go, and is probably the best of its kind in Washington state. That said, go north to Vancouver for the very best in the area. Bellevue has improved its garden and expanded enormously over the past several years. Much of the attraction is in the nearby forest. The perennial garden is... More

Our Host in Seattle said, let's visit gardens. Off we went to this Botanical Garden and enjoyed every step of the way from the new building to the many separate garden areas including the beautiful suspension bridge over the sunken river. The flowers were lovely, the walkways attractive and with a sunny day, our experience there was marvelous. We left... More

Extraordinary location for inspiration and a renewed spirit. Knew of the gardens, but had never really spent time there until a spontaneous visit on Mothers Day. The charm and the delicate details were wonderful. Can wait to go back AFTER the current round of construction is complete.

A wonderful relaxing place to visit while in Bellevue. Places to sit, talk, take pictures as you and a few friends, family or lover walk and take in the amazing plant life of the Pacific Northwest. Always something is blooming. Colors and greenery surround you as you make your way into the fenced Japanese inspired garden or deep into the... More

I was looking for a place to photograph flowers while visiting Seattle. After an internet search, we ended up here. The place was lovely, with good signage and a variety of flowers. I'm sure it changes throughout the year, but July was not disappointing.

A wonderful place to take in the flowers or enjoy a walk on the trails. Always peaceful and something new iin bloom to admire. The garden has been revamped, with a new entrance, garden shop and facilities for meetings. Bring your mobile device for further information on plants with their tagging system. Throughout the year, numerous classes on gardening are... More

Prior to construction, the gardens were outstanding. Each area had wonderful flowers and other attractions that were worthy of many photographs. I think that when all of the massive construction is completed, the gardens MAY get back to what they once were. Right now, they are nice but not near their old beauty.
