Prior to construction, the gardens were outstanding. Each area had wonderful flowers and other attractions that were worthy of many photographs. I think that when all of the massive construction is completed, the gardens MAY get back to what they once were. Right now, they are nice but not near their old beauty.

Even during construction, they did a great light show, led lights made into flowers, animals, and a river. We go every year for a birthday night out.

Love this place! It is a great Sunday afternoon stroll for everyone and don't miss the Garden Delights from Thanksgiving to Christmas! The city has to be so proud of this place. It was someone's former homestead/farm and it is now the most wonderful example of Pacific Northwest flora and fauna. LOVE IT!

What a wonderful place for a nice walk amongst gorgeous and so loved plants taken care by the garden staff. If you like nature and flowers, definitely spend an hour or two in this well kept garden.

The Botanical Gardens have a new upscale urban feeling now that the new visitor center building has been completed. While the human scale of the facilities have been replaced by a modern architectural theme, the gardens retain their beauty and scale. A wonderful retreat any time of the year, the Christmas season is a must. But, do go anytime!

Unlike many botanical gardens, this place also has different trails (easy) to explore various areas of the park. Each one is unique. I was able to walk around for about an hour getting to know each of the attractions. It was a peaceful experience, being close to nature. It is very pretty. The volunteers were very friendly and discussed some... More

BBG, less than a mile from downtown Bellevue, is a world-class garden with well-maintained trails for walking or jogging. It is adjacent to Wilburton Hill Park and connects with other area trails as well. If you're here in December, don't miss the holiday light show!

Have been here several times, each experience unique. Christmas light displays are spectacular, and should not be missed! Volunteers spend hours preparing the displays which are each unique. Duane

This is an urban oasis. The gardens are well planted and provide a place to stroll and forget that urbanization is just out there beyond the treeline. Spend a few minutes or an afternoon. Parking is free and it is a moment away from downtown Bellevue.Go for a jog. Pack a picnic lunch. Dogs are not welcome in the gardens... More
