I've used this park for 30 years, Splendid walking/jogging trails complete with stops and props and directions for exercise. Come on the right day and you'll see llamas, with owners, on the trail.
Impressive kiddo playground. Tennis courts. Shelters to reserve for gatherings. Soccer fields, Baseball fields. OBSERVATORY! Check out the BI Astrological group. See history as to the site...

We are very lucky on Bainbridge Island to have so many nice parks, but Battle Point Park is one of the best there is. With a 1.5 mile loop trail for walking, running or biking, numorous sports fields, and opservatory and much more, this park is something to look forward to on weekends when we have nice weather.

Beautiful, large park. Paths for dog walking, running and biking.
Playground,ball fields, skate rink and a duck pond.
Picnic tables and a large covered shelter which can be rented for group events.

The kids (ages 5 - 10) were getting a little stir-crazy walking "downtown" Bainbridge and lunch time was coming. At the recommendation of the owners of the Calico Cat Toy store and Bainbridge Cycles, we grabbed some deli sandwiches at the local grocery store (great sandwiches) and headed to Battle Point Park with the kids.

This park is very large (over 75 acres) and other than the playground its has large open spaces with ponds, a nice trail for walking/bike riding/jogging, athletic fields (soccer, baseball, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and roller hockey), equestrian area, gardens, and an astrological observatory.
