A nice, very well maintained city park with campsites, picnic shelters, and a nice beach to spend time on. Both ends of the beach are private property, and the owners do not hesitate to say something if you venture on to their beach. The campsites offer afternoon and evening shade, but no privacy. Also, there is no longer an RV... More

I had a few hours to spend with my two youngest children while on Bainbridge Island, and was told about the park by my husband's coworker. The drive out was very relaxing from town. We picked up lunch in town, and had a picnic on one of the many picnic tables, then the boys played on the large playground. After... More

Great park to take a picnic and walk along the beach...they even have a few camp sites! There is a ton of driftwood that makes for fun for little kids. Also, a terrific view of Mt. Rainier on a clear day. Would definitely recommend Fay Bainbridge!

Take the dog, walk the shores. When the tide is out, the walk is wonderful. Off season is best, as it will be ALL yours.

A very convenient place to camp or just visit the shore line. Had views of the Sound. Dog friendly too.

We had a pleasant drive getting to this park at the top of the island. Watch for the sign. It's easy to miss. The restrooms were closed during our visit. I guess it was out of season. We were alone and it was very quiet. It was a nice place to take photos. We had to walk over lots of... More

I heard there were whales in the area so I took the ferry over from Seattle. Didn't see whales, but enjoyed my time hanging out on the beach. There are restrooms and lots of parking.

A PLACE WORTH VISITING in Bay bridge island. Crystal clear waters of the Sound , scenic view of Mt. Rainier and the Seattle will keep us busy . Though there are Logs , one can take a board walk to the beach, near the picnic shelters . There is a play park for the kids One can relax at the... More

We are from the South, and have sandy beaches with people enjoying themselves in all sorts of attire. This beach was rocky with big, big logs strewn about, seemingly perches for visitors to watch the water and skyline across the Sound. Everyone had on traveling clothes and hard-soled shoes. I'd certainly recommend one visit simply because it was so, so... More

Climbing over the logs to get to the beach was a little tricky but the views were worth the visit. We could see Mt. Rainer and the seattle Sky line. Had fun searching for special rocks and shells.
