They can do so much more out of this place. Its few of those parks which has water front and can have good walking trails. The fishing section of the park is quiet nice. Great for families as it has relatively more amenities, facilities and parking than other area parks.
Walk up the hill to the Lee Family Estate for a surprise and reinforcedment of the message that the victors re-write history!

Hiking trails, lovely views of the Potomac, fishing. I come here every wknd with my dog. Always a peaceful place to go after a hectic week. Annual pkg pass is a great deal.
