The museum has some really nice exhibitions, a lovely cafe and nice little gift shop. But I go for the garden which is simply lovely and worth a couple hour stroll every time. In the summer the museum puts on some great shows: Bluegrass and Bar B Que, a Pasty Cline tribute night, tomato and garlic festival, etc. There lots... More

Liked the beautiful gardens and museum. Disappointed that the house is not open at this time, however is supposed to be done with the renovations by 2014.

We don't live far from here and make it a point to go often. The gardens are beautiful! It is a wonderful place to go for a walk. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The events they have are a blast!

I think this place is a part of the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. It is nicely decorated to the time and the gardens are beautiful! Great place for visitors or school field trips.

From the amazing water garden and Chinese garden to the statuary garden and the Grand Alle', Glen Burnie's gardens are an incredible place to spend a few hours or even... More

For anyone who enjoys gardens, easy walking paths with a great variety of plantings, almost all labeled for easy identification. Fun and interesting features throughout the garden from formal gardens, vegetables, a kitchen herbal, to spots of whimsy.

Need about two hours and appreciation of history and life about 150-200 years ago. A Beautiful set of grounds to visit. Poor choice for young kids!
