Took the boys here today. I would say the 1st and 2nd floors were more age appropriate for them, but the roof was also kind of neat. Great part was they have ATSC reciprocity so we didn't have to pay admission. It is also in Old Town Winchester, so there are shops right across from the museum. Downside is there... More

Fantastic place for kids of all ages and adults! Lots of areas for free play as well as exploration. Took grandchildren, ages 3 and 4! They especially loved the rescue squad vehicle!

This children's museum had 4 floors, each packed with fun stuff for little ones. My kids are 8 and 10 and even though we had a good time I would recommend this for younger kiddos. We all still had lots of fun doing experiments and being silly together! Each floor has clean bathrooms...a plus for sure!

This was a visit with the grand kinds, ages 6 and 4. They had a good time on each of the 4 floors. The stand-out exhibit was the full sized automobile built entirely of Legos (201,076 or them). The real ambulance was a hit too, and the climbing wall. There were a few minor things that didn't work, like the... More

I believe this place has three floors and a rooftop spot for kids to have a ball. There are so many hands-on things to do in this place. I especially like the real emergency/ambulance on the first floor, along with various gear for kids so that they can play EMT or doctor. I also think the Apple Packing Shed set-up... More

Both of my kids are 2 and under so they got in free. Even if we paid for them only it would have still been cheaper than the $21.00 we paid for the adults. If they would just charge the kids only, it would make more sense. With that said, it was a fun time. Our favorite floor was the... More

My 2 year old daughter had a blast. We took here there with her grandparents and there were plenty of family activities. She enjoyed the ball roller coaster the most. I can see our family visit again the next time we come to visit.

We were so excited to visit the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum and were disappointed pretty much from the moment we walked in! We had 4 adults in our group & 2 children and it cost us $48 to get in (I was aware of this ahead of time & was willing to pay that for all that the museum supposedly... More

When it was on the mall, it was dark and crowded. Now, it is bright and more spacious. Kids need a break from history and battlefields, this is a place to keep them entertained for awhile. Don't forget the rooftop.
