This is my faverite place to stay - quite, relaxing, clean and overall peaceful. There is an entire building just for kids and their planned activities. Movie rentals, board games and swimming pools - fun for the whole family.

We have just stayed in Williamsburg and wanted to play some golf. I decided for the first time not to bring the golf clubs and contacted Ford's Colony Golf Club to see if they could help. The response was first class from offering us a great deal to rent clubs for the week to booking all our golf on their... More

Ford's Colony is an upperclass neighborhood in Williamsburg that has a golf course and clubhouse. During our most recent visit, I noticed the lack of upkeep. The roads needed repair, the grass was full of weeds, it just looked old and not well maintained.

We stayed at the Marriott at Ford's Colony and totally left wishing we could stay longer. This vacation resort is truly a resort. It has beautiful grounds, swimming pools, golf course, tennis courts and much more. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed with mini kitchens and luxury bathrooms. Laundry facilities are free for the use as is the parking.... More

I am currently staying here with a 3 year old and 14 month old. They are loving it here. The grounds are well kept and manicured. All the staff we have encountered are extremely nice and helpful. The lady at the front desk was amazing. Our room was spotless and very nice. I am very picky especially with where I... More

Four of us treated ourselves to a golfing weekend in June 2014. Two people were long-time serious golfers and two of us were novices. First, it is a beautiful course and the staff is fantastic. We are used to playing at public courses and carrying our clubs to the course from distant parking lots. At Ford’s Colony, you pull up... More

A very elegant accommodation with lovely grounds and a nice convenient club house for meals. We recommend staying here for your visit to Williamsburg.

The "guest room" is the basic selection here with a king bed and a mini kitchenette. Nothing spectacular about the room, but the grounds are really lovely. 3 heated pools (one indoor), tennis, movie theatre, golf course, bikes, etc. It's a gated resort - a Marriott vacation club (timeshare I guess?). One drawback: no restaurant...well there's a grill/snack bar kind... More
