This is a really great place - located in a beautiful park with walking/biking trail. Friendly staff. Loved that once you got to the platform, you could choose easy or hard side - this made it nice for our family as i didn't want to be overly exerted after walking for 12 hours the day before at busch gardens.

Go Ape is so much fun that I would go there every weekend if it was possible. I took my oldest daughter there for her birthday and we both went nuts. Be adventurous and go have fun!

I have been on a number of zip courses over the years. Those typically offer stunning views while testing your fear of heights. However, Go Ape is different. It's more like a treetop obstacle course. Yes there are zips, but the Tarzan swings and ring obstacles are the real highlights. My lone word of caution is to pay attention!!! You... More

This is a great adventure for all ages. There are two ropes courses at the clean and well cared for site. One course is for ages 10+. Caring instructors guide you through the safety how-tos and basic training. They make sure sure that everyone is capable of following the directions a navigating the sample zip line and a training course.... More

Spent an afternoon at "Go Ape" to celebrate a friends birthday. We were a large group ranging in age from early 20's to 63. Everyone completed the course and had a blast. It is challenging but not impossible. if your healthy and in OK shape you should have no problem completing the course. The instructor at the beginning went through... More

Honestly, this has got to be one of the BEST things offered in Pittsburgh! My hubby and I have been wanting to try zip lining so when we heard about Go Ape and that it was a little more than just zip lines, we were excited...and nervous! Needless to say, it was a blast! Everything is well organized and they... More

My family and I went to do Go Ape at Freedom park, Williamsburg, VA. on the day of my birthday Aug. 16th. It was the most fantastic, amazing birthday adventure ever!!! This place was fantastic! We had to cut our time there short due to a thunderstorm, but we enjoyed the 3 parts we were able to finish. I love how the entire staff was so friendly and fun, yet still very safety-minded. They all made sure that my 11-year-old knew exactly what to do, but did not talk down to... More
