My family and I went to do Go Ape at Freedom park, Williamsburg, VA. on the day of my birthday Aug. 16th. It was the most fantastic, amazing birthday adventure ever!!! (It was the gift I always asked for my birthday) The team from the office to the instructors were not only professional but knowledgeable, respectful and fun. Safety first... More

This place was fantastic! We had to cut our time there short due to a thunderstorm, but we enjoyed the 3 parts we were able to finish. I love how the entire staff was so friendly and fun, yet still very safety-minded. They all made sure that my 11-year-old knew exactly what to do, but did not talk down to... More

Took our local Cub Scout Pack to the junior course. Our experience could not have been better. Dominique did a phenomenal job organizing our gang of 34 parents and kids into smaller groups. All of the staff on the course were super helpful. The scouts, siblings and parents who participated all had a very memorable, safe and fun adventure!

Loved it, loved it, loved it! My aging body may not agree, but I would go again today (and every day of my trip for that matter). Very entertaining. Did the extreme course and towards the end it seemed kid of long, but we are not in the best shape so if you are at least somewhat fit you should... More

Our kids, 8 and 11, had a great time. We had our older one do the Junior course since it is the only Junior course in the US, first timer and both would be done at the same time. The group had 14 participants which was a lot of kids on 2 small loops. It is a single file process... More

I took my granddaughter and her friend (both 12) to Go Ape in Williamsburg, Va. It was quite the experience! We all loved it. The zip lines are great. We took the extreme courses and some were challenging, but fun. Would definitely go back.

Great fun and challenging course for all fitness levels. Loved that it was self guided, but closely monitored. Course was in excellent shape - well developed and well maintained. Staff were cheerful and helpful. I love zips (there were 5 on the course), but my favorite was the Tarzan swing! We went early on a weekday - great because there... More

Me and my boyfriend went on our second real date here and it was SO much fun. I am scared of heights but I wasn't that day because I felt very safe with the equipment and instruction the guides had provided. It's tons of fun and everybody really works with everyone by encouraging them that they can do it and... More

If you are looking for a great challenge for you and your teenagers, this is the place. The staff is excellent, they are courteous and knowledgable. The staff explains the safety harness and teaches you what to do. They make sure you know what you are doing before they set you out to explore the course. If you are afraid of... More

Best day of our trip, hands down. It was a bit expensive but worth every penny. Both my teenage daughters (17&18) had a blast! The choice of taking the easier route vs the extreme route allows more athletic/adventurous climbers the chance to take it to another level, while less able climbers can go another route. The staff was friendly and... More
