We had an overcast day and instead of spending money to go to the historic parks we decided to try Waller Mill Park. What a great spot. Hiking and biking trails, battery operated motorized boats, kayak, and canoe and fishing pole rentals. We rented a motorized boat and kayak along with a fishing pole. Spent hours out exploring the lake.... More

Great little park with lots to do. We enjoy renting the peddleboats for an hour or so. The prices are very reasonable. They have rowboats and canoes. If you have a cell phone you can track down some geocaches as you walk around the lake. They even have a dog park.

My husband and I took our two lower teen aged grand daughters to Williamsburg on vacation. We discovered Waller Mill Park and had a delightful time canoeing. Beautiful setting with lots of clear water and nature around us. Friendly staff too!

This park is full of massive trees. It is a nice place for a picnic on a hot day. There is a small fee per car.

Not far from downtown, easy to reach, very nice! The park offers miles of trail, and water fun too. Bring your family, your dog or great to take beautiful pictures!

This park is a piece of serenity tucked away from the rest of the world. A beautiful setting and so peaceful. Great for family day, or pack a picnic lunch and have a private picnic. There is a playground, which is very shades, or trails to go hiking on. You can also rent a canoe or paddle boat and go... More

Beautiful location. Secluded picnic tables. Pack a lunch and a blanket sit on the shore of this pond that is beautiful in any season. Rent canoes or paddle boats. Great family fun.

Would never have thought this park was so close to so much! Nestled between a busy road and the interstate, lies this gem of a park. We took kayaks out on the lake and had fun paddling around and searching out inlets. The park has a huge enclosed dog park that looked like fun for canines and well maintained. We... More

We were there during the week and after peak season so it was pretty much empty. We rented paddle boats and took a nice paddle on a beautiful lake. You can rent paddle boats or kayaks for a very resonable price.
