Returning from a trip to upstate New York, we decided to take an extra day and stop at Williamsburg. We were not disappointed. Excellent tours of several of the buildings, conducted by the best docents we have ever encountered. Williamsburg should provide training seminars to other museums and attractions on how to be a great docent. These people were terrific... More

As our son is finally old enough (12) to go on more historical trips, we try to do a few theme parks and a few museums/historical outings. Our son is also autistic; we thought a tour would help keep him interested by bringing history alive. We had two fabulous days with Mr. Falls and were able to see Jamestown, Williamsburg,... More

It was a lot of fun to take a tour of the homes of the mayor, people from the past and see all the neat tools and outfits that they wore back in the day. Very much hands on and lots to see.

We had a 2-hour tour of Colonial Williamsburg with Mr. Falls and thoroughly enjoyed it! He is a wealth of knowledge and a great storyteller! He kept the interest of our 11 and 14-year old sons, as well. We only wish we could have kept him with us the entire day to learn even more.

We just returned from a 3 hours tour with Charles throughout Williamsburg. He gave us a wonderfully interesting tour that included not only the heart of Colonial Williamsburg but also William & Mary College. We learned a lot more than we could have every learned on our own and by having a private tour, Charles geared the tour to our... More

We were so fortunate to have a private walking tour with Charles. Thank you, Trip Advisors! It was solely based on your reviews that we chose this option for seeing and learning about Williamsburg. The way Charles described the area in Colonial times, weaving in such interesting bits of history, totally transported us back in time. We could actually visualize... More

My wife and I booked a private tour with Charles based on reviews from his previous customers. We were not disappointed. We took a two hour slice starting at William and Mary College and a mile walk later, ended up at the Courthouse. On the way, he showed us various sites and with his knowledge of the restorations, history, facts... More
