Williamsburg Colonial Tours was the perfect accent to our recent vacation. Charles, our tour guide, was awesome! I highly recommend hiring a tour guide such as Charles from W.C.Tours...., it's the only way to get inside information and a truly personal experience... without this tour I do not believe we would have been able to connect as well as we... I can honestly say that Charles Falls was the highlight of our three day stay in Williamsburg. His obvious deep love for the city was humbly shared with us. We were fortunate enough to book him for a ghost tour on Saturday night (July 26) and a half-day Monday morning (July 28) Colonial Williamsburg tour. We found his style of... More

We are so glad we found this tour through tripadvisor instead of doing one of the big group tours! Much more authentic feel. Our guide, Charles, was great. He told us about lots of great stories and ghosts. Our kids, 10 and 12 loved it. Bring your camera and you might catch a ghost!

I have been to Williamsburg probably 5 times in my life. I can say that Charles made Williamsburg come alive with the history that I was unaware. We enjoyed his engaging style of interaction by asking questions and providing the background to the questions. I would recommend Williamsburg Colonial Tours as a tremendous step into knowing what our founding fathers... More

Bruce, thanks so much for your supportive comments. I should be thanking your wonderful family for being so cooperative while walking in the rain. I appreciate your comments that you found the tour so informative. Please convey my appreciation to your family. Charles Falls More

We had a great experience. It looks like such a peaceful place. There is lot to learn for school kids. Great historical place. Many things they did those days does not make sense today due to over information society. Do not miss out on this.

My girlfriend and I recently visited Colonial Williamsburg with our four boys (ages 15, 12, 12 and 10). After reading the excellent reviews on Charles, I contacted him immediately. He was wonderful with communication and working around our schedule. We both felt the price was extremely reasonable for the value and quality of what we received. I'm a fifth grade... More

Jen, Thanks so much for your compliments about my tour. This is especially appreciated since it comes from a professional teacher who teaches Early American history. It was a pleasure to see the faces of your children and their reactions to my stories. I wish I could visit your school and talk to all the children. They are the future... More

We hadn't been back to Williamsburg in almost 40 years and boy has it grown. The wonderful carriage rides around the historic town are lots of fun and tickets can be purchased right inside the historic are. There is so much to see and do, with taverns for food, gardens to walk around and admire, and reenactments to watch. The... More

We visited Williamsburg a few years ago with my mom and when our son was 10. All of us enjoyed the trip. We stayed at the Governor's Inn which was within walking distance of the historical area and had easy access to modern shopping and restaurants. Be prepared to walk through the historical town, but also be prepared to be... More

We had a blast at colonial Williamsburg! We dined at some of the colonial taverns and enjoyed every one! We had bad experience at a restaurant in merchant square with a rude waiter but the activities and tours kept our days full of excitement for 3 days. Plan ahead because we missed some tours because they were only offered certain... More
