In early December we took our 98 year old mother for a road trip to Williamsburg and booked an individual tour with Charles Falls - best thing we ever did! He asked us about mom and her interests and arranged a handicapped accessible (Mom has mobility needs), personalized & fascinating tour - geared to her and her interests and experiences.... More

Dear Kathy and Joe. I cannot thank you enough for your thorough and eloquent review of my tour . I believe, in large measure, my number 1 ranking among 18 local tour companies was due to your recent review. I hope you visit again and allow me to tell other family members your connection to this special city. I also... More

Looking for an informative tour through Colonial Williamsburg? Tour with Charles Falls! We had our family visiting over Christmas and Charles wowed us all and me (for the third time) with his knowledge of Colonial (and Civil War) history. Charles' tours are a must for understanding the incredible lives of our earliest Patriots and how the town of Williamsburg began... More

My husband and I spent 2 days roaming the old streets of Willliamsburg and the shoppes nearby. There are so many things to see and do and great people in time period clothes who are helpful and wonderful. We enjoyed the relaxing time of pretending we had gone back to that time era! A nice relaxing time away from our... More

So much to do, you cannot fit it in all in a day. Lots of walking, history, food, shopping and observing. Truly a history buff's playground. This is great for adults and kids alike. We took our dogs to walk the streets. I suggest parking near the town, not the visitors center IF you are bringing dogs. Otherwise, using the... More

We were advised to start at the Williamsburg Visitior's Center - and so we did. Good move. There we learned that we qualified for free multiple day passes because my husband is a veteran (to ottos is Veterans Day). More importantly, we were urged to view a film about the history of Williamsburg and how it fits into our understanding... More

Returning from a trip to upstate New York, we decided to take an extra day and stop at Williamsburg. We were not disappointed. Excellent tours of several of the buildings, conducted by the best docents we have ever encountered. Williamsburg should provide training seminars to other museums and attractions on how to be a great docent. These people were terrific... More

As our son is finally old enough (12) to go on more historical trips, we try to do a few theme parks and a few museums/historical outings. Our son is also autistic; we thought a tour would help keep him interested by bringing history alive. We had two fabulous days with Mr. Falls and were able to see Jamestown, Williamsburg,... More

It was a lot of fun to take a tour of the homes of the mayor, people from the past and see all the neat tools and outfits that they wore back in the day. Very much hands on and lots to see.
