Touring Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg with Charles was fantastic and worth every penny. His knowledge of the area, the history, and his storytelling ability brought history alive. Our time was filled with interesting facts and stories and was quite memorable. The time just flew by, nothing like history class. 😊 I could have easily listened to and toured with him... More

We had a great time with Charles. He gave us a lot of information and was really helpful given my mother's limited mobility. He helped us get a scooter and a walked us around. We learned a lot and appreciated our time with Charles and colonial history. Thanks for everything.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area and even for those who already live here. You won't be disappointed. Charles does an amazing job sharing his wealth of knowledge. This is one experience you do not want to miss.

From the first moment my grandsons met Charles Falls, they were absorbed by his historical tales. He began with information about the College of William and Mary cleverly weaving details into captivating stories. After we walked along Duke of Gloucester Street and spent two hours together, the boys both said that they missed his company as we ate lunch. More... More

This tour was one of the best things we did while in Williamsburg. We were fortunate that we were the only ones on the tour, probably because it was a Monday. The guide was excellent and made the tour. Her knowledge of Williamsburg and the history of the area made the entire experience remarkable. I highly recommend this tour.

Charles was a wonderful and highly knowledgeable host and guide to mom, dad, and our ten year old daughter. He spoke to our daughter engagingly and without condescension, and ably fielded our questions. Of particular interest was the visit to the old campus of William and Mary College which we had not visited before--even though it is right across the... More

My sister and I took our 12 year old granddaughters on a tour with Charles. He captured the girls attention very quickly. He was such a great teacher and storyteller. He takes you off the beaten path and makes it more like a history lesson. We all learned so much, because his stories are dramatic. The buildings and the reenactments put... More

By far the most interesting part of our trip was spent with Charles. We felt like we were leaving a family member behind when we left. Thank you for making history come alive in front of our eyes.

all the tours are interesting and put you in the place during the period of time. Saw a trial where a master had killed a slave... very interesting perspective from back in the time. Went a dance and learned the old dances. Also did a Confederate War timeframe tour talking to 3 characters : southern wife, union & confederate soldiers.
