The campus of William and Mary occupies over 1200 acres and has been named by Travel and Leisure Magazine as one of the most beautiful college campuses in America. Founded in 1693, it is the second oldest university in America (only Harvard is older) and the only "public ivy" and counts famous alumni such as Presidents Jefferson and Monroe, and... More

The volunteer student tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the building and it's history. There was just two of us on the tour which allowed more questions, all of which were answered but for one. The building itself is of the Wren style but cannot be credited to the English architect for certain. Claimed to be in use... More

We recently went to Williamsburg for a long weekend as it is one of our favorite places to visit. One thing we had never done was walked around the College of William and Mary. It is a beautiful campus with a lot of character and good spirit about it. Well worth the time to see it.

We had a great walk through the campus. In the warm fall weather it was nice to look at the colonial buildings and enjoy the color of the trees.

Came down for a football game and enjoyed the weekend very much. The campus is beautiful. The people and students were very friendly even though I wore my rival college jersey. You can walk every where and the views are great. Just a very nice place to visit.

William and Mary is located just next to Merchants Square in Colonial Williamsburg. The campus is one of the oldest in the country if not the oldest. Suggest taking a night ghost tour. There are really some scary things that went on here.

Second oldest American university behind Harvard, but it is state supported and not private. A wonderful teaching university with zero grade inflation. Hard to get in. Hard to stay in.

Besides being a great school, it is beautiful as well. The campus is beautifully maintained, retaining it's Colonial Williamsburg style and charm. It is within walking distance of the restored area and great restaurants as well.
