I've been to most of the Northern VA wineries (many several times) and I can say that Loudoun Valley has one of the most laid-back atmospheres, with a great selection of wines. On nice days, you can usually see people out back on bistro tables, listening to live music (usually a one person band). This area is tough for red... More

I love visiting VA wineries and try to support them whenever I can. I wish I could give Loudoun Valley Vineyard high marks but in this instance I cannot. As my palate has matured over the years I guess I’ve grown fonder of dry as opposed to very sweet wines and that is what is bottled and served so far... More

Brought the entire family for "Wine & Swine" kids liked running around outside which was beautiful. Wine was good. Fairly priced. Owner was very pleasant! We will try to make it out there again sometime.

Stop by after going to Sunset Hills Vineyards. This was a disappointment. Very small building. Bar area can only handle about 6 people and there are tabls for maybe another 20 people. Little deck that needs a lot of TLC. Nice view though! And the lady behind the bar (think the owner) was very knowlegeable for those doing the tasting.... More

Wine is pretty bad. The chocolate/Cheese/Wine Pairing they had this past weekend was nice ($12/pp). It hid how bad the wine was & we actually each bought 1 bottle. One I poured down the sink (Cab Franc) - it might have tasted good on a salad but not in my glass. The Classic White had an almost refreshing mineral quality... More

I visit a lot of wineries. My wife and I try to get around to wineries as much as our schedule permits so as we were on our way home from a quick trip to town we decided to try LVV again. First, the wine. It is becoming difficult for Virginia wineries to stand out amongst one another. Unfortunately LVV... More

Last weekend my wife and I attended this winery's annual lobster fest. It was atrocious. We were told when we checked in our 3 lobsters would be ready "in about 15 minutes" and brought to our table. Over an hour later we still had not received them. The woman working there handed me a lobster. A few minutes later she... More

They have decent breads, cheese, etc to sit down with a nice bottle of wine. Wines are decent but not the best in LC.

It is one of at least 5 in the area. They have their own wines. The area is beginning to grow most of their own grapes on good terreouis.

Loudoun Valley Vineyards was our 4th stop of the day. The wines were ok and the staff friendly. Not sure if i would make a return visit due to the fact that we found quite a few better wineries in the area worth visiting.
