We had a groupon for their wine boot camp. Honestly, I would have rather spent my time else where. The boot camp was two and a half hours way too long, they could have condensed everything into one hour. To be honest, my whole experience started off on the wrong foot as one of their staff members spilled RED wine... More

The Little Washington Winery is a bit of an anomaly, in that besides many nice VA wines, they offer some international wine selections, that one will likely not see in any other VA winery tasting room. The winery is not the easiest to find, and when you feel that you are in a school parking lot, you are almost there... More

We visited the winery with 2 friends and took a wine boot camp class. The class was quite enjoyable and educational for all, even the oenophiles in our group. Wines tasted included boutique and unique selections from around the globe and selections from their own winery. There's a very limited selection of food available, so you may wish to bring... More

My wife and I started visiting the many vineyards in Virginia this year. While we've enjoyed each wine tasting experience but really didn't understand much about wine itself so we thought the Little Washington Winery Boot Camp would help bring us up to speed. We were not disappointed. The owners, Carl and Donna, taught the class and made it entertaining... More

Wines were good, as was their selection. Very small amount to taste, needed more for my tastes. Young and knowledgeable staff, quite a bit of outdoor upgrades being done, no picnic tables or areas to enjoy the great view...except the crowded second story porch, and it is an amazing view. Actual winery is off-site, and initial impression suggests you are... More

Beautiful location. You would not know it from the road. This winery is back off a gravel road and has a gorgeous view. The girl that served us for our wine tasting was very knowledgeable about the different wines. She was friendly. And this place lets you bring your dog which is awesome! Nice place to grab a bottle of... More

A bunch of us joined the Wine Cheese and Chocolate course that they puut on - it was great. We started at their winery store where we had a picnic lunch (we brought our own) and then went to the chocolate store where the course was held. A wonderful course and very yummy tastings...

This is a nice day trip from Washington DC, a small town with friendly small businesses where people look out for one another. The "wine boot camp" includes more talk than wine, but it's interesting talk by one of the owners. He loves wine, is eager to share what he's learning, and takes a humorous approach to it. Good tips... More

Just a couple of weeks ago, we decide to take this hour and a half long Sunday trip outside of Washington, DC to visit this winery. We arrived at this lovely site located in the scenic Shenandoah Mountains. At first glance it looks like a home from the outside until you reach the entrance, where the tasting bar and display...
