Description: Tucked into the edge of Shenandoah National Park at Washington Virginia...
Tucked into the edge of Shenandoah National Park at Washington Virginia, Little Washington Winery is the coolest destination winery in Virginia Wine Country. Home of the Dirt Road Wine Tour, every visit is completely different with their own wines ... their George is named #1 red wine in Virginia and their Shenandoah Steel is named #3 white wine in Virginia. They also collect the most incredible wines you'll never find anywhere from other small farms in Virginia and beyond and showcase them. The tasting is completely different every day.

What an experience, beautiful view, wonderful selection of wines from all over the world (as well as, wines crafted by the resident vintner from locally grown grapes), and a 2+ hour seminar on the art, pairings, chemistry and drinking of . . . wine. It was an interactive and wonderful afternoon. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys... More

Visited this vineyard twice in the pst month and have to say the view from the outdoor deck is spectacular at sunset. The wines are slightly better than average.

We were looking for the Chocolate Loves Wine shop, and found this affiliate of theirs. You need to enter in the back of the house, and you feel like you are pulling up to someone's home. The wine server was very nice and appeared to like what she was doing and gave a nice rendering of each wine. Expensive as... More

Been to MANY wineries and done many tastings-and supposedly have had "food pairings". I must say this was such an instructive time. They really got down to proofing the pairings and the taste subtleties of pairing different wines with food. Very informative and wife and I thought of them more of a wine shop (as they sampled wines from all... More

Second time there and very accommodating. Even brought out toys to distract a 4 yo the first time. Great wine club!

Enjoyed the wine boot camp. Sampled soooo many wines and even the most seasoned vino-philes learned something new.

Attended the wine boot amp with some friends and had a blast! The owners share their enthusiasm and knowledge of wine in a very entertaining way. I have wanted to learn more about wine and this was the perfect way to start. We talked about, and tasted, some of the wines they make as well wines from other places. I... More

we are pretty wine savvy but you can always learn something. They did a great job talking about the wine and you got to taste about 15-20 wines, some theirs some from other small vineyards. Read some of the other reviews and was concerned but must have been a bunch of whiners because it was definitely worth the 2 1/2... More
