Okay golf course. Wouldn't play again.

My boyfriend and I came to Virginia Beach for a weekend golf trip. This was the first course we played. It rained two days prior and the course was a complete muddy mess. They... read more

My boyfriend and I came to Virginia Beach for a weekend golf trip. This was the first course we played. It rained two days prior and the course was a complete muddy mess. They must not have any drainage system whatsoever. The greens were aerated, but they were still okay. The layout of the course could be nice with a... More

Whenever we're in the area, we try to make sure we can get a tee time at Hells Point - The staff is friendly, the course is well maintained and the price is reasonable. The only times we haven't had a great experience here was weather related!

This was the best course I've played since Turtle Point. Nice greens, beautiful scenery, challenging course. Lots of sand and water and even a couple of 2 year old doe on the course.

I played a round at Hell's Point with my 14 year old son. It was a weekday morning in early July during a week's rental of a beach house in Sandbridge. Our rental magazine included an offer of $10 discount when showing a rental key. We could have made a time online, which is a nice feature, but as the... More

I have been golfing here at Hell's Point now for some three years. I have to say that I am very pleased with the improvements that have occurred. The staff is willing to help and even the members were friendly. The fairways and greens are great and I've noticed a lot of work taking place in the sand traps. After... More

Just to let everybody know where to go, from first tee shot to last put conditions were great, looks like the Hells Point I remember! from many years ago. If only the clubhouse and interior were in the same shape as the course this would the place to play all the time. Keep up the great work and make sure... More

Hells point is back!!!! The course was almost unplayable two years ago and then Paul came as Superintendent and turned the course around. The overall playing conditions are Very Good to Excellent. Greens and Fairways are in GREAT shape. Cart paths need some work in places, the drainage is much improved but with South Winds you still some wet conditions.... More

Course is in great condition, the greens are some of the best in the area now and the fairways are not far behind. Yes this course has had it's issues in the past but it's fully recovered and is one of southeastern Virginia's best layouts. The clubhouse could use a major overhaul but you'll forget about that when you get... More

I read some of the negative reviews and to be honest they puzzle me a bit. Every person we dealt with at Hells Point went out of their way to accomodate our foursome, from the clubhouse attendants to the starter to the beergirls. We played this course twice in July while we vactioned in Sandbridge. The twilight rate we got... More
