Tough course, seems overrated to me. Nothing memorable to me. Good fill in course, but not my idea of the top course in your vacation planning

Me and my boyfriend came to Virginia Beach on a weekend golf trip. Virginia Beach National was the third course we played and by far the nicest. Everything about the course was beautiful. The pro shop, locker rooms, practice facility, fairways, greens, tee boxes were all beautiful. The rate was $42 and we teed off at 12:30. The fairways have... More

Great layout with great people...what else do you need? Oh, quick greens? Has those too. And they roll TRUE. So far, this is the only Va Beach golf course to get 5 stars from me...but I've only played 3. If you're military, they give an awesome discount. :-) Don't miss this course if you're visiting.

I spent a week in Virginia Beach with my family and played both Virginia Beach National and The Signature at West Neck. I found VBN to be a much superior course. VBN has a great layout and the variety of hole designs keeps the course interesting throughout. The greens were great - much better than the Arnold Palmer Signature at... More

Great course with the right conditions. You can hit it a little wild , but you better make that second shot ! Great greens with water in play throughout the course. Nice staff and clubhouse with fair pricing.

This was a TPC course, but now it is owned by the City of Virginia Beach and is named Virginia Beach National. It is a challenging layout that will test the shot making skills of all golfers. There is a well stocked pro shop and a good restaurant on site. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If you are... More

Great course if you like wide open fairways. Chalenging but fair. Lots of water comes into play. A very good course. Conditions are very good. The greens are quite fast. The bar and lunch facilities are top notch. The waitress was engaging and quick. Would definitely play here again on my next trip to the area.

Overall a pretty boring layout. Most of the holes look the same. Not one was memorable. The course was in average condition. I wouldn't recommend it.

Once a premier golf facility that hosted a "Nationwide Tour" event, the pricey TPC is now Virginia Beach National. The faculty has lost some of its allure, but it's reasonably priced and accessible for visitors and locals. It's a good test of golf. The course was designed by Virginia Beach's favorite son Curtis Strange. Bring all your clubs, it's a... More

Absolutely unspoiled views and a superb Pete Dye layout that will challenge all handicaps...as is standard for a Pete Dye course, it looks a lot tougher than it plays, but it's no pushover. Pick the right set of tees for your skill level or it'll be a long day. There's a lot of water in play and for most of... More
