I spent a week in Virginia Beach with my family and played both Virginia Beach National and The Signature at West Neck. I found VBN to be a much superior course. VBN has a great layout and the variety of hole designs keeps the course interesting throughout. The greens were great - much better than the Arnold Palmer Signature at... More

Great course with the right conditions. You can hit it a little wild , but you better make that second shot ! Great greens with water in play throughout the course. Nice staff and clubhouse with fair pricing.

This was a TPC course, but now it is owned by the City of Virginia Beach and is named Virginia Beach National. It is a challenging layout that will test the shot making skills of all golfers. There is a well stocked pro shop and a good restaurant on site. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If you are... More

Great course if you like wide open fairways. Chalenging but fair. Lots of water comes into play. A very good course. Conditions are very good. The greens are quite fast. The bar and lunch facilities are top notch. The waitress was engaging and quick. Would definitely play here again on my next trip to the area.

Overall a pretty boring layout. Most of the holes look the same. Not one was memorable. The course was in average condition. I wouldn't recommend it.

Once a premier golf facility that hosted a "Nationwide Tour" event, the pricey TPC is now Virginia Beach National. The faculty has lost some of its allure, but it's reasonably priced and accessible for visitors and locals. It's a good test of golf. The course was designed by Virginia Beach's favorite son Curtis Strange. Bring all your clubs, it's a... More

Absolutely unspoiled views and a superb Pete Dye layout that will challenge all handicaps...as is standard for a Pete Dye course, it looks a lot tougher than it plays, but it's no pushover. Pick the right set of tees for your skill level or it'll be a long day. There's a lot of water in play and for most of... More

Used to be a TPS Course. Its a good value and rarely do I get hung up with people in front of me. I have always enjoyed this course and it has a far away feel even though its close.

The course is in great shape and very reasonably priced for a course of this quality. With no houses to worry about and wide fairways, the course is fitting for golfers of any ability. The clubhouse, pro shop and locker rooms are top notch. A must play for anyone visiting the area.

The name has changed to VB National. Great course and staff. We asked for (and received!) associate rates, reducing our greens fees to $40's. We played the day after a ton of rain, and the course was in impressive shape. We went back for round two, you should too!
