Stayed at a Hotel overlooking the Boardwalk in the summer of 2007 and loved it. You can sit on your balcony and "people watch' if you like and enjoy the view of the ocen and sounds of the sea gulls. The Virginia Beach Boardwalk is very nice. Its cement so you can ride scooters rollerblades or even take a rest and watch the sunset! They also have a bike path so the boardwalkers. I love the Boardwalk in VA Beach. It beats alot of Boardwalks I have seen at other beach destinations. It is very neat to see live bands every so far down the Boardwalk. Also have the bike path, as well as the walk path was a brilliant idea. more

I love walking on the boardwalk at night and seeing all the different hotels that are around. You also get to see the different activites that are going on at the park at 31 ocean. The Va. Beach Boardwalk is AWESOME! There are many activities that occupy it day and night. There are restaurants, arcades, mini amusement parks, and sometimes even concerts. It is a really neat place to visit where you can enjoy many activities. Two thumbs up. more
