We had to pay $10 to park because our hotel was so far away. It was $4 to walk out on it and back. It just wasn't something amazing like I thought it would be.

This boardwalk is one of the best on the coast. Three miles long, I believe, and nice and flat. The only negative points are that most of the "board"walk is in fact made out of concrete, which can get hard on the knees after a good bit of walking. The other negative is that there are very few shops on... More

The boardwalk is nice, but just be aware that it is more like a large sidewalk than a true Boardwalk. If you have ever been to Ocean City, NJ, it is not like that boardwalk. There are some cool things to see: Neptune statue, Law Enforcement Memorial, Naval Aviation Memorial, etc.

Nice to walk along beach and they have benches along the board walk to sit back and rest and just listen to the ocean. They have the bike lanes for biking.

The boardwalk today was absolutely gourgous. I don't visit as often as I should. Living here you just don't seem to have the time. We are fortunate to have such a beautiful attraction for locals and tourist alike. I mainly saw families out today and everyone was having a wonderful time. There were many families biking and strolling . There... More

This is my first visit to Virginia Beach and I'm completely impressed with the boardwalk. It's a very wide, paved area with plenty of seating and separate bike lanes. They have even built wooden walkways off of the wheelchair ramps on to the beach for added accessibility.

The boardwalk is great for riding bikes, I love the fact that it has it's own bike lane! I also love the beach here. The sand is of the perfect consistency, not too fine and not too coarse.

A booster for sinking soul, cardiac tonic, merry making -whatever name you like May assign but the place is really one of the nicest one. Walk in peace if you need tranquill, join beach roadside music and dance ,sit quiet on ocean from hotel lawns have bear, drinks and get lost either in imagination or in the activities going on on vicinity.Unlimited... It was nice to walk away from road traffic along the ocean. The various statues were fun to find. We rented a pedal car to roam up an down the boardwalk. There were playgrounds for little kids. We rode horses on the beach. Plenty of restaurants and shops on the streetside of the boardwalk.
