If you're tired of paying $40 to see a movie, come to the Visulite in downtown Staunton! Between the two tiny theaters on the main street, you can usually see any of the current box office hits for a tiny fraction of the usual price. Bring a receipt from Food Lion to get a free soda! Also, some theaters have... More

We enjoyed taking in a good movie while we were in town. The stadium seating is great. The theater seemed to be clean. We enjoyed it.

I have been to the Visulite maybe 30+ times and the seats are great! An important point considering the old Dixie and how uncomfortable they used to be. The seats here are even better than the Zeus in Waynesboro. One slight complaint is that they now show more 3D kiddie movies and less foreign and independent offerings than they used... More

We love Visulite. It is a nice, smaller theater in downtown Staunton. The theaters are medium sized with comfortable seats and they are always clean. The people that work here are very friendly.

It's an old movie theater building that has been renovated with modern seats and the high slope that we expect these days (so that we don't have to look around the head of the person in front of us). I would have liked a bit more of the old-time stuff to remain, and I was surprised that the price was... More

Not a "fancy modern multiplex"...but a clean, friendly local downtown theater. Fair prices... good first run movies... VERY comfortable seating... good popcorn... special showings of limited release movies and live simulcast Operas.

This was a great theater to see a movie. The theater building was an interesting sight and definitely should not be missed if spending a night in Staunton. The staff was friendly and the seats inside were very comfortable. It was a very relaxing movie experience after a busy day outdoors.

Theatre is small and does have stadium seating. Nothing fancy about the auditorium. The sound and digital projector were excellent.

The owners of this place have combined modern movie theater experience with downtown space. We miss their original "Indie" culture, but they do host some special movies along with their mainstream pics.
