Attended Much Ado About Nothing at the Blackfriars in June, Sunday afternoon. It was wonderful. Hilarious! Shakespere with a modern touch. Actors were great. My senior high students really enjoy seeing Shakespeare's works come alive at the Blackfriars. We make a point of going each year, and every class has an ethusiastic response. Although the comedic/sexual overtones may be stressed more than originally intended, it does captivate the students' attention. Kudos to the performers. I don't know how they do it! more

As an Englishman, I was slightly worried about hearing the Bard's great verse in an American accent. I was completely wrong! This is a vibrant theatre with some of the finest Shakespeare I've ever seen.
