I love this place, the lake, wide open trails, and beautiful place! The trails are connected, so you can take it up to Wakefield and continue on the Cross County Trail to WOD trail.. awesome place.

Many Childhood Memories Here! So much better than the 60's. Just a very special hidden secret Gem, right inside the Beltway! Hope all the new, young families bring their children here for sweet, simple family memories, they'll never forget!

My husband and I went here for a baby shower, and we had never been here before. We were amazed at how big the park is! It's pretty well-maintained, though the bathrooms could use some extra attention. There's a carousel and a lake where people were putting in kayaks and paddle boating. Looks like there are places to run, too.... More

There is a small island on the lake where a wide variety of birds congregate at different times of the year. The picnic areas are mostly under the shade... More

I love coming here. The environment is "tranquil." The hiking trails are awesome, the lake is just peaceful.

This park is a great place to go for bikers, walkers, and runners alike. I love going to this park to run around the trails, it's beautiful and very relaxing. Personally, I prefer Burke lake which is about 20mins away from this park but they are both very nice.
