River District is a must-see when you visit Sperryville. A wonderful gallery with artists working live in attached studios. There is a small gift shop. Someone has spent a lot of money renovating this huge old apple warehouse into an art gallery adjacent to Cafe Indigo, which is in the same building. There is nothing out of the road to indicate that either the gallery or the restaurant are off the road about a half mile down a nondescript lane, but there is a sign...
