As soon as they open the door, you are greeted with the most wonderful smell of fermenting grain. The tour was great. I was less impressed with the tasting. Seems a bit steep for what you get. On to the product: I'm not a gin drinker, so I'll skip that. The Single Malt Whisky is very good (I liked the... More

This is an outstanding small scale distillery with carefully made products. From the moment you ring at the door until you leave the place, you’ll be taken care by knowledgeable and attentive staff. The free tour is amazing: they really take the time to explain all the process and the characteristics of their products. You can also taste some of... More

We visited the Copper Fox distillery while in the area on business. The tour was fascinating, the owners and employees that helped us were informative and lovely to visit with and their products are second to none. We have become real fans of Rick Wasmunds brand!

The distillery is located in interesting complex of old, one and two-story buildings, which appear be a former agri-business. Entering through the large, wooden door, you see the tasting bar across the large room. The tour begins there and takes you step-buy-step through the process of making whiskey. The guide was knowledgeable and energetic about the work being done, the... More

If you like whiskey or gin, here is an interesting way of spending an hour. It is not as extensive as the Bourbon Trail tours in Kentucky, but it is still worth the time.

this distillery is located in an old building and will educate you on how whiskey was made in the early days. a true educational and fun experience. after the tour a tasting of products in flights of 3 is offered and an ABC store there can sell you their products or mementos. we have been to a lot of the... My husband and I stopped here for the tour and the tasting. The tour is free and very personal. This is a small place so you really get an up close and personal look at how it is all made. Our tour guide was very informative and very passionate about this place. After the tour we did the tasting -... More

This place is spot on as to what you hope a whiskey distillery would be! I am not a whiskey drinker by any means, and I actually found something I liked here! Our tour guide took us through every room, let us taste, smell, and touch things along the way. He was very informative, very helpful and you could tell... More

I've never been to a distillery before and the folks at Copper Fox taught me so many neat things. They have a great story and delicious spirits. The game-changer was their Gin (I usually hate Gin). It was absolutely delicious with the lowest allowable amount of Juniper, you could really taste the other complementing flavors! Fun activity for a couple... More
