Just off of Rte 11 (Old Valley Pike) sits Fisher's Hill Battlefield. This area is largely undeveloped with 2 interpretive signs, a mowed path allowing visitors to walk to the top of the "Gibraltar of the Shenandoah", and the iconic split rail fence that can be found at nearly all Civil War battlefields.
