This was a very refreshing time away from all the commotion in life. Our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable about Roanoke history. Enjoyed the restaurants and the food was fantastic and filling. We will definitely do it again!

Amelia was our tour guide and she was FANTASTIC!! The peanut soup at Hotel Roanoke is something I have always wanted to try. It did not disappoint! The shrimp and grits were my favorite dish I tried. (I don't like grits!) I have lived in Roanoke my whole life and learned more about the town on this tour than I... More

We did the Roanoke Food Tour this past friday with our tour guide, Becky. It was awesome! It started at the Hotel Roanoke with peanut soup and spoonbread and it kept getting better and better. Becky was very knowledgeable and her love for the city and it's community was very evident. What a wonderful way to spend the day, our... More

We did the Sunday Brunch Tour with Larry. It was great fun, the food was fantastic especially the she-crab soup in Metro, the other people on the Tour were great fun and we learnt lots about Roanoke and the surrounding area - we will go back as he has wet our appetite both for the local restaurants and other places... We had the pleasure of experiencing a Roanoke Food Tour this past weekend. This is our first time in Roanoke and I feel like we really got to know the city. Our guide was Amelia who, with her theater background and love of the city, is the perfect choice for the job. We started with peanut soup and skillet cornbread... More

This was a cool way to spend the day walking around Roanoke and tasting foods that the city has to offer. The tour guide/owner of the business is awesome and knows a ton about the city's history. I'll be sure to attend the craft beer tour the next time I'm in Roanoke.

What a fantastic service Roanoke Food Tours offers! I took the tour with a group of family & friends. We had a wonderful time despite the light rain that fell off & on throughout the tour. Took the 11 am tour during the week. Was fortunate enough to have the tour guide all to ourselves. She was awesome. Very passionate about the history of Roanoke. Was just passing through but will definitely be returning to try the brew tour or brunch. Tell your friends!,

We took the 11am tour on Saturday morning and am glad all I had beforehand was a banana for breakfast, because there were 7 stops over 3 hours on the tour, so we definitely had our fill by the end. It was such a great way to see the city and learn not only about its history but about the... More
