We have been watching the TV show for the past year or so and since we had a planned trip to Roanoke we knew it was a stop we had to make. We thoroughly enjoyed the almost 2 hours that we spent walking the grounds and through the warehouse. Tons of salvaged items and refurbished items to see and buy.... More

A tremendous collection of salvaged and recovered items. If we were custom building a home, we would start here for unique items and ideas. While the TV show is interesting, it only provides a glimpse of all the wonderful things available. We spent over 2 hours just wandering around the showroom looking at all the salvaged items. Unfortunately my wife... More

I took a class there. Great folks, all are very friendly and knowledgeable. There is not a thing to dislike about this place.

We stopped into this warehouse-sized store as we were looking for some antique doors to possibly use on a project. Although we didn't find what we were looking for this time, we found a very fun place to look as salvage items ready to incorporate into your project as well as many craft items already made into newer items. The... More

Stopped here while passing through town. Ended up spending almost two hours here. We home school our kids and as we walked around we talked about where and when some of their pieces came from. They had giant works of stained glass, salvaged doors and columns, I found an autopsy table in a corner upstairs. There were items they had... More

Love the show so we had to visit the store. Spent 3 hours wandering around and looking at all the goodies. Mike, Robert and staff are super nice and full of stories about their finds. We ended up buying a shipping container (which barely fit in my Edge) and looking forward to making a neat coffee table out of a... More

Love the show and when we had the opportunity to be in Roanoke, we had to stop by and see the place. Tons of neat items, some of which we now own. People are very helpful and friendly, just like the show. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

We have been a fan of the show for a long time and finally decided to make the trip, which is only 2 hours from us. We had just stepped inside when we saw something that we had to have so bought it and continued exploring. We spotted something else that we were very interested in but wanted to see... More

We traveled here to see the Black Dog Salvage after watching their TV show and getting hooked. They have such awesome things. We planned our trip around this visit and had a great time in Salem. We went on a Thursday and LOVED it here. You can wander around from room to room and see lots of stuff. We saw... More
