Great Directions from their website, and the shop itself is AWESOME! I HIGHLY reccomend it, and also that you allow PLENTY of time to visit! I was there 3 hours, and really want to go back because I KNOW I didn't see all of it! And EVERYONE there was Extremely Friendly!!!!!! Perfect Visit!!!!!

So neat to see a place you've seen on TV. What a chock full place. Lots of the items for sale in the large central section was from vendors who apparently rent their space from Black Dog. However, there was plenty of Salvage and Antiques that were genuine Black Dog finds. We even saw several of the items made during... More

The store was great and I could have shopped all day. Robert was nice enough to allow us to take our pictures with him and he even talked to us for a minute. It was fun to see items that were on the show.

Went here while we were passing through Roanoke. It is a pretty cool place. Lots of unique times but things are pretty pricey. If you have healthy budget you can find a lot of cool and custom items for your home.

Although we live out of state, whenever we are within a hundred miles of Roanoke we visit Black Dog. We've visited architectural salvage yards in five or six states, but this is our favorite. It has a little bit of everything and it's displayed in an organized way. Upstairs you have hundreds of fireplace mantles and old appliances as well... More

We have been watching the TV show for the past year or so and since we had a planned trip to Roanoke we knew it was a stop we had to make. We thoroughly enjoyed the almost 2 hours that we spent walking the grounds and through the warehouse. Tons of salvaged items and refurbished items to see and buy.... More

A tremendous collection of salvaged and recovered items. If we were custom building a home, we would start here for unique items and ideas. While the TV show is interesting, it only provides a glimpse of all the wonderful things available. We spent over 2 hours just wandering around the showroom looking at all the salvaged items. Unfortunately my wife... More
