We went to the civic center to see Justin Moore, Randy Houser and Josh Thompson. The singers were great. The civic center is small and easy to get in and out. The parking is free which was very nice. The only negative was the line for beer was VERY long. There were only two lines in the whole place for... More

Awesome place for the games, easy to find and plenty of parking. Enjoy watching the girls play. The kindest workers I have seen.

We have been to various events here. We get here a little early as to avoid having to use overflow parking. I ran into a problem with my tickets and the customer service were very helpful and quick to help solve the problem. I find the facility is well cared. The website has the list of events. I am pleased... More

I have attended several events at the Roanoke Civic center since it opened. Always friendly, well lit, and lots of room to park. Just need to work on the food vendors. I'll take my chances to walk to McDonalds than pay $4 for a Hot Dog and another $5 for a drink. Bad manors, folks.

We have gone there for the last 15 years for the commonwealth games opening ceremonies. We have had a great experience each and every year.

They had the Subway Commonwealth Games opening ceremony celebration here. It was a nice experience. The Civic Center is so big and has so many different shows there. I enjoyed the ceremony.

The concert was wonderful and presentation was quite good. However, we had balcony seats and they were entirely too far away to see the stage. I felt as though the seating advantage was misrepresented in advertising. I would never again get a balcony seat; we just couldn't see anything.

I thought the venue was very good for the concert that I saw. I drove here just for the concert and stayed in a hotel across the street, so parking was not a problem for me. Didn't use the restroom, so I can't comment. It seemed to me that everything worked well. The staff was pleasant and answered all questions.... More
