Nice venue, easy to get to. Had to park too far away for the Elton John concert. Parking not located at the civic center. Had a back issue and struggled, but every other visit has been fine.

Lately I have noticed that the Bergland Center is doing a much better job of booking acts. The popular acts usually come through mon- Thursday on their way to or from a bigger venue on the weekends. I am impressed by the variety of acts. The symphony hall is great but the bigger auditorium is getting seedy from old age.... More

Nice variety of 3 main spaces for a plethora of activities and functions. The Civic Center is seperated out in to 3 areas, an arena for things like the circus, monster truck shows, rodeo, etc, the flat concrete floored inside space for gun shows, flea markets, trade fairs, etc, and the stage hall for musicals, graduations, dance recitals, stand up... I disliked that it was in Roanoke. I liked that it was. I try to attend every year. I see old friends, meet new ones and enjoy learning more and more about God, Jesus and the United Methodist Church.

Parking was tough, but the volunteers directing traffic were fantastic. It was easy to get back on the main highway and get back to Salem. Maybe 15 minutes away.

Excellent!!!!!! Gaither always puts on an excellent program. Karen Peck and New River were top notch. David Phelps hits notes that give you goosebumps.

This is a nice venue. Lots of seats, not too many in the nose-bleed range. Plenty of bathrooms and concession stands. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a great show.

The kids had fun. I purchased VIP tickets to the Jurassic Quest for my kids so they could get the most out of the trip. The VIP package didn't include much but I suppose it was better than the alternative. We had a good time regardless and the civic center is a nice place to go for any conert, circus,... More

My visit was to attend the VHSL wrestling championships. Let me first say that navigating the Salem/Roanoke area is much like navigating an ant hill. A GPS guide of 12 miles seems to result in at least 20 turns but I guess that's not really the fault of the Civic Center. Upon arrival you pull into one of the strangest... More
