Although the sign on the door said the Museum was open while we were there, the door was locked. We rang the bell and one of two employees sitting in our "We're closed because of the weather"--the weather was fine and every other business/museum in Roanoke was open; there were people walking and driving on all of the DT streets.... More

“Small small small”

The exhibits were interesting but it was basically just two rooms. Which is fine if you are downtown already. Don't miss it if you are at Center on the Square or are going to the Taubman Museum around the corner.

This is a tiny museum on one of the floors in The Center on the Square in downtown Roanoke, VA. The museum has a small section showing artifacts of the Indians who once lived in the woodlands of Virginia. There are some small displays on early settlers of Virginia.
