Reston Town Center offers a variety of experiences for all ages. It is well-laid out, attractive, relaxing and busy at the same time, hip and traditional. An array of restaurants, shops and entertainment opportunities are available in this small area of town. Very enjoyable to spend a few hours or just a quick meal.
It feels like the loneliest place in the world. No public library, no buzz, ever un-changing. Whether you like the busy-ness of a city or the warmth of a local village, this place gives you neither. I visit and stay this area often because of my job, and apart from the giant portion sizes restaurants (steak, Mexican, other identikit approximations... More
Reston Town Center has a little bit of something for everyone. I would recommend checking out their online calendar. The shops Are a little pricey, and many restaurants are chains, but it is a nice place to go out with family or a night on the (suburban) town.
If you want to see a pessimistic sci-fi film in real life, go to Reston Town Center. There you are no longer in America but some corporate no-man's land. We decided not to patronize the place after a few hours. Do yourself a big favor and spend your time in a real town or city. Breathe free air. Interact with... More
We had no idea what movie to see. The very helpful staff had a looseleaf binder with summaries of all their movies. So, we saw Friends with Kids. Pretty good movie, but I digress. The theater was nice. They are scheduled to undergo a complete renovation soon. The seating was comfortable; thick, rocking chairs, plenty of room. Their concessions were pricey... More
There are a lot of shops and restaurants at Reston Towne Center. At night it is fun to walk around the fountain. They decorate nicely also during the Holiday season. Plus they offer out door ice skating. A must see place depending on the season. This place also holds so many non-profit charitable events such as the Walk for Ovarian... More
There's always something going on at the Town Center. Even in the dead of winter, people sit outside at the tables just to hang out. Many of these people are alone, but not lonely, because it's just that kind of place. And, if you want something to eat, to shop or go to the movies, it's all right there. Such... More
Overall, a lovely spot to shop (especially Teavana) and a great place to dine (at either Passion Fish or Jackson's Fine Food). The theater, however, needs a lot of work as the seats are rickety and the there are no cupholders.
