We decided to stop here on a whim. Only 1 mile from interstate 81 however worlds away. They have beautiful land with a view, and cute tasting room. They are expanding the tasting room and host events. They have many, many wines to taste for free and their wine was actually good! Some VA wines can't cut it, but this... More

This was the first wine tasting my husband and I attended. We absolutely love wine, but live in a fast paced city where vineyards are hard to come by... However, it was so much fun! Tasting was free and they walked you through the wines and pairings.. Needless to say, we walked out with several and had none left the... More

If you would like a fun, warm, personable education to wine, stop here. The staff revel in making each inquisitor grand! Reasonable prices, food pairing suggestions, local production tidbits, and shipping. What's not to like?

We came here by chance on our way home from Roanoke, VA. The property was gorgeous and we loved the staff. The best thing about the tastings is that it's FREE! Yes I said it... FREE!!!! The wines are also realisticly priced and they have a great assortment of cheeses, wines, crackers, and little trinkets. They also have a wonderful... More

Small winery in a small town in Virginia. We entered the tasting room and was greeted by a friendly hostess who did a great job at describing the wines we were sampling. For no fee, we were able to taste ~10 different varieties (all of the bottles they currently had open). You can purchase wine (chilled) and consume it on... More

Beautiful drive on a perfect curvey road in the country about 20 miles + from Lexington VA...great tastings and fun folks in charge. Wine accessories sold, plus any bottles of wine too.

We happened across Rockbridge Vineyard while traveling through Virginia recently. We saw a sign and decided to check it out. I'm so glad we did -- the vineyard is beautiful and the tasting room is in a barn-like building that can apparently be leased out for events. The tastings are free. We tried 4 wines, including a very good dessert... More

My husband and I visited Rockbridge on our way home to Louisiana. We were greeted immediately upon arrival. After some friendly small talk with the lady who worked at the vineyard, we asked about the tastings. She said tastings are free; we give you a glass and we pour and you drink! At the same time we were joined by... More
