We saw that they had German style wines so that intrigued us. However there wasn't any that we were super overjoyed about. My husband loves dornfelder. The pours were small for $10. We were told that dornfelder wines come from the "le trocken" region of Germany. Trocken means dry in German. They should be trained how to read a wine... More

Very relaxing environment and wonderful staff. Never feel pressured. Always feel welcomed. Interesting wines. Place to taste some international wines from Germany and Austria. Loved my afternoon.

Such a beautiful location which offers incredible tasting room and outside seating areas! As we drove up their driveway we were happy to see such a beautiful, timber frame tasting room and timber frame outdoor seating area with incredible wicker-style seating an cushions. Plenty of picnic tables and outdoor areas to sit in the lawn, as well as lawn games.... More

We stopped by this delightful little winery on a weekday afternoon. The tasting room is very nice with a frontier feel. Our pourer was very nice and courteous. Enjoyed some very interesting German inspired wines.

Very unique varietals here with an awesome staff that provides you with just the right amount of information. Came on a weekend where there was music outside so you could purchase a glass or bottle and enjoy the beautiful countryside. The German influence on the wines was very good. Would highly recommend this vineyard if you are in the area.... More

Really nice wines, (German varietals) great staff and ambience. Do a wine tasting, buy a bottle and sit outside in the very comfortable seating and enjoy the peaceful hills view. Wonderful. Dornfelder, blaufrankish and Malbac wines are good.

I love going to this vineyard and being a "member". I like that you don't have scheduled shipments but are just required to buy 12 bottles throughout the entire year at your choosing. I feel like the German influence is interesting and provides a different experience than other local vineyards. There are a couple of wines that I wouldn't call... More

The thing I liked best about Otium Cellars were the unique varietals they offered...and they were amazing! They don't offer a lot of wines, but what they do make are very, very good. I highly recommend a trip to Otium if you have the time!

This was our first winery and we loved it! Loved the wines and Morgan was knowledgeable and very hospitable. Lovely grounds overlooking rolling hills and horse farms. Absolutely gorgeous. They had very unique varieties of wine which we loved. Definitely will return!

This was my first visit to Otium Cellars and I will not be back--at least for a few years. My first problem is that the tasting bar is so high I could barely reach the top (I'm 5'2"). Despite my shortcomings, I liked the tasting room--small but nice. The staff was very friendly. I dumped most of my wines--they were... More
