Really nice wines, (German varietals) great staff and ambience. Do a wine tasting, buy a bottle and sit outside in the very comfortable seating and enjoy the peaceful hills view. Wonderful. Dornfelder, blaufrankish and Malbac wines are good.

I love going to this vineyard and being a "member". I like that you don't have scheduled shipments but are just required to buy 12 bottles throughout the entire year at your choosing. I feel like the German influence is interesting and provides a different experience than other local vineyards. There are a couple of wines that I wouldn't call... More

The thing I liked best about Otium Cellars were the unique varietals they offered...and they were amazing! They don't offer a lot of wines, but what they do make are very, very good. I highly recommend a trip to Otium if you have the time!

This was our first winery and we loved it! Loved the wines and Morgan was knowledgeable and very hospitable. Lovely grounds overlooking rolling hills and horse farms. Absolutely gorgeous. They had very unique varieties of wine which we loved. Definitely will return!

This was my first visit to Otium Cellars and I will not be back--at least for a few years. My first problem is that the tasting bar is so high I could barely reach the top (I'm 5'2"). Despite my shortcomings, I liked the tasting room--small but nice. The staff was very friendly. I dumped most of my wines--they were... More

The friendly service is the best aspect of this knotty- pined log cabin. It's a bit too small and a bit too loud but the wine's OK.

Enjoyed comparing some of the european gown varietals with the same now growing in VA. Wood stove and chalet style tasting rooms were cozy and fun.

The wines are German influenced, which is a little different from other area wineries. The tasting space is attractive but loud with only a few guests. The setting is very pretty.

I enjoyed the wine and the tasting. We started by trying three whites, all the same grape/type. At first I was confused, same wine different years, this should be boring. Boy was I wrong, every year was very different, very enjoyable, and it really shows how much Mother Nature and skill plays into the making of the wine. They repeated... More

My family and I were referred to this winery by another one close by. When we arrived we thought they area was beautiful. It is a pet friendly winery which we like as we love pets. The wine was good and we were able to fine several that we liked. The staff was very friendly and we noticed that you... More
