Needs more food

Great wine. Nice views. But they need to permit small amounts of palate cleansing food at the tasting bar. Overall enjoyable.

Visited Breaux Vineyards this past weekend. Huge winery with more than 140-acres under-growth. White and Red wines were very delicious. The Wine-barista was very knowledgeable about the winery itself and the processes that go into making the wines...despite having just started there 7-months before. The chateau was beautiful, though it was a bit too sparse on selling accessories and things... More

The newly completed tasting room is beautiful and expansive -- much more room than they previously had and the folks there giving the tasting were knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with. The wines from this vineyard are some of the best in Virginia and there was not a single wine that I tasted that I did not enjoy-- especially the... More

The winery pays fun homage to two story wrought iron decks of New Orleans. The new tasting room just opened up a couple months ago and was open and light giving great views to the over 100 acres of grapes and surround mountains. We fell in love with the wine and became members, getting access to the cave, a smaller... More

The view of the winery from the road is amazing, the place is really done up nice. Inside looks all brand new. Place is always packed. For the price of the wine & food they sell it seems a little over priced. There are plenty of other wineries in northern VA that charge less and have better tasting wines.

Thank you for visiting us! We appreciate you talking the time to post a review as well. Our bottle prices start at $15.00 and go up from there and we are always working to make sure our prices are in line with what the market with tolerate all the while, like any business, with our production costs in mind. I'm... More

First I have to say I was there on a rainy Sunday afternoon and there very few guests at the vineyard. The place is beautiful. I can imagine on a beautiful afternoon the place could be crowded but not for us on this rainy afternoon. Plenty of table on the covered porch. The wine was lovey! The setting is gorgeous!

Thank you for spending a day in VA wine country with us! I'm so happy to know you enjoyed yourself. You're correct in that we do get very busy...typically on Saturday afternoons. That's why we recently expanded our buildings and grounds. We are still growing into our new space, but we can see already that when we are indeed quite... More

On our approach we were fooled thinking this would be a 5 Star visit, let me tell you, a 1 Star is too good for this rude and phoney place called a vineyard! After a good faith investment with 2 boxed bottles of wine to go as well as 2 chilled averaged "so so" wine to share as a family... More

I went here a few times in 2011-2012 but stopped going because it was always so crowded. Went back a few months ago and have been back 3 times since. They recently did a renovation and now the location is MASSIVE and awesome! Tons of indoor and outdoor space. Most of their wines are excellent, their tastings are large, staff... More

Tasting cost is fine. First wine of six presented was horrible; very sour. Rest were okay, nothing special. Palate cleansing food is sold there, but choices are quite limited and they won't allow you to set your little plastic containers of cheese and toast on the bar, where you HAVE to stand for the tasting. Place is NOT family friendly.... More

Thank you for visting us and for letting others know about your experience. We could not agree more! We do need more food offerings and are working on a program that will launch in October. Our goal is to do soups, sandwiches, and salads in addition to our lite fare options already in place. Our ultimate goal is to have... More

Weekend getaway option. First class vineyard and elegant setup. Best when there is an event going on. Very reasonable tasting costs...only $10.00 for a flight of six wines. Big negative. You have to drink the wine standing at the bar. Awkward with the lovely patios and verandas. So if you want to really enjoy the experience buy a bottle of... More
