We're from the SF Bay Area and have several educational venues geared towards education and young kids (Exploratorium, Bay ARea Discovery Musuem, etc)-- but none like this! We have a 2.5 year old and he had a blast. It's very educational as well as fun for the younger set (such as our toddler). The museum had exhibits that pertained to... More

They've done a lot to enhance this experience. My husband, 10 year old and I really enjoyed ourselves. More

We became members of the Childrens Museum in 2011 and frequent there often. They have several great exhibits that take learning beyond looking at displays. The interactions range from real world professions, creativity, theatric, natural environment, and of course scientific. There is a planetarium with shows from a one-of-a-kind experience, its a good break from the traditional (and costly) IMAX... More

This museum is amazing. I have two children ages 2 and 3. They absolutely loved it. We ended up spending 7 hours there and could have spent longer except the kids were tired. This museum would be great for older kids as well. If you are in the area and have young kids, it is a must see More

I personally liked the old Children's Museum better.... However, this place is still very entertaining for children of all ages! More

Great place for younger children. You could spend a half day there and they won't get bored. To many things to list but the toy train display takes up multiple large rooms. So for the older kids and adults who are into toy trains it would be worth a visit just for that. More

The parking attendant recommended I stay with my 2 and 3 year old kids for 3 hours (parking was $1 per hour), and we ended up staying for over 5 hours. My kids absolutely loved it, there was nothing there to break and they went wild, it was perfect for them. More

This is an outstanding museum. The fire truck & all the "fires" to put out are a big hit with the young ones. There is a bus to drive, too. The Lionel Train layout and collection is outstanding!!! There is adpecial Brio train set up for kids to play with. There is also a special toddler's play area with totally... More
