Also came here in Dece 2014. The chocolate is amazing, especially the Macadamia Butter Toffee Crunch ($25NZD) which is to die for. would rather pay $20NZD for a box though as there is never enough! You can also watch them making their chocolate treats in the shop through a glass wall that surrounds the kitchen

Part of a tour showcasing food/crafts of the area. Very nice chocolate, this is an expensive brand. Watched the ladies making truffles...you can understand why .

For me doesnt cut it... I prefer to swim back to russell to wash the taste out of my... More

As you walk inside you are greeted with the lovely smell of chocolate. You can watch all the chocolates being made - behind glass - and there is always a... More

This is the factory where they making hand packed chocolate. Different kinds of chocolate that you can taste before you´ll buy them. They aren´t the cheapest, but definately worthy to buy even for you or your friends. It´s pefect gift and they offer the service of delivery anywhere to anyone.

Sampled the macadamia butter toffee crunch. And had to buy some. The other tasters were just as delicious. Although the prices seem high. The confectionery is absolutely worth it. I purchased some for my partners birthday she loved it also

Two years ago, I was driving along Kerikeri road when I went pass the Makana Confections building that caught my eye. I doubled back and boy was I glad I did so! The Macadamia Butter Toffee Crunch left such a lasting impression that I am going to get more of them when I head down to New Zealand this October.... More
