THe rainbow falls is fantastic and obviously if time short, just drive straight to the lookout. The walk is nice but if you haven't got the tip, just skip to the main event! You can also get around underneath the falls but be prepared to get wet if the water level is high!

Although we live in Kerikeri, it is always enjoyable to take a trip out to see Rainbow Falls. Sunny days are best to view the magical rainbows dancing in the sun. Fabulous after heavy rain too. For those who enjoy walking I suggest parking the car near The Pear Tree and walk up to view the Falls, then it is... More

So easy to see and enjoy even if you have only a few minutes to spare, and well worth it. Loved the roosters wandering around the car park too! Would like to return and do the longer walk.

We walked from the car park, just a few minutes form the falls. It is really beautiful. We followed the short and steep path to view the falls from below. I would have liked to have taken the long walk from the basin, but time did not permit. So nice that there is a quick and easy option to enjoy... More

This excellent walk from Kerikeri follows the river and can be accessed from a number of places along the path.It is a fairly easy walk with a steep climb at the end to look over the falls. One of the best waterfalls in the area.

Had to visit due to being a nature lover. I have seen better but still lovely and a short pleasant walk.

Easy walking to both top and bottom of the falls. Saw some great rainbows coming off the water in the right light from the top.

It is worth the walk to the falls and to stroll along the path and see the falls from various vantage points. Take advantage of the seating and relax and enjoy the view and sound of the water falling.

Short walk from car park, with many options for longer walks if you want, worth a visit something for free for the family, some new pathways and small seating area by viewport.
