They have some beautiful nature walks here, through the bush and up along the river. The waterfall is amazing too. If you're not afraid to get wet, you can walk in behind the waterfall, it's a little hard to get behind there but worth it.

This is a wonderful spot in Kerikeri. You can either drive here or do the nature walk (approx 45 mins one way). The path that leads to the waterfall is very safe (reinforced and complete railing), is wheelchair accessible, has many seats situated in the two main viewing platforms and has wonderful views. The second viewing platform is quite romantic... More

One of the many beautiful waterfalls that can be seen across New Zealand. Couldnt see the rainbow on the day I was there due to the weather which meant it was not a standout for me

Beautiful waterfall and you will get rainbow colours when the sun is shining and the spray is coming off the waterfall. A short flat walk from the car park with two separate viewing points.

a very nice walk to a beautiful falls, the walk goes through some forest and along a stream. Mostly flat, hills are not a problem and it was a lovely spot

This was my first sighting of one of the many waterfalls in New Zealand. From the moment we stepped out of our car in the car park we could hear the sound of the waterfall. Clearly signposted how long in minutes it takes you to reach different viewing areas. Definately take the walk down the path to the base for... More

Delightful and refreshing! And FREE to view! The walk to the falls was surprisingly easy. We expected a long walk (thinking you had to pay the price for a great view!) but were surprised to get there in a few minutes. Parking is easy and there are signposts to ensure you stay on the right path. Don't just stop at... More

With free easy access from the carpark under the lovely native trees where one can picnic, it is a short two minute walk to the quite high and spectacular falls. If the sun is shining, some lovely rainbow and double rainbow effects make this our favourite walk. We often take the extended walk toward the historic Stone Store and return... More

Definitely pay the Rainbow Falls a visit if you're travelling up North. Very easy access to the waterfall (less than 5 minutes to the first viewing point and about another 5-10 minutes to the basin). Went on a dreadful day but yet it still looked amazing. Parking should be easy as there are quite a number of lots. There are... More
