A real short walk to the Fall from the parking... ;) We only went to take pictures. Lots and lots of it! Luckily the weather was perfect! <3

the falls look nice but we went from Opua to the Rainbow falls (>30min) in a tight schedule and I don't think it is worth a detour, lucky we found a great lucnh in Kerikeri after !

The waterfalls are an average drop waterfall. There is a car park and the falls are a short walk from the car park. The falls are nice but not a must see. There are plenty of other, more interesting things to see in the area.

Hiked from the Stone Store along the river to the falls through forested land. Nice easy walk. Lots of birds flitting about.

Good directions, well kept pathways, the falls have good pools above and below. While we were there a couple were swimming in the upper pool. Is that wise? Probably not though they weren't going to tumble over just for us. It is a well kept site with good access and the falls are worth a visit.

This is a pretty waterfall close to the town and readily accessible for the able and the less able. Details of the walk, which starts from the free DOC carpark, are available from the NZ Department of Conservation brochure.

Pretty waterfalls close to car park. Can walk down to the bottom or if lazy can just view from the top.

A must stop when you are in the area. The walk around the falls is a comfortable walk and the scenery is beautiful.

A nice easy, short walk to an awesome view of the beautiful rainbow falls. Very aptly named when the sun is shining on the water.A great place to take visitors who are not able to walk distances.
