A nice spot for a short walk to stretch your legs close to the Stone Store just 5-6 mins away to drive. Something else to see!

The Rainbow Falls are right in Kerikeri, very easily accessible, even in a wheelchair if viewing them from the top, and well worth a visit. You can opt to walk from the Stone Store, or to park right at the falls.

The easy way to get to the Rainbow Falls is to drive all the way up to the lookout, get out of your car and walk for a couple of minutes. If you've got an hour or so (and some calories) to spare, however, I recommend taking the long way there. Simply cross over toward The Stone Store, behind which... More

We were based in Paihia, around 20 kms away but has seen reviews and pictures of the falls and decided to visit. We were glad we did. The road signage isn't the greatest as with other falls - but if you has gps and lock in Rainbow falls road - you should get there no problem. There is ample parking... More

OK - we were on holiday looking for waterfalls, big, small, whatever. But Rainbow falls - wow. A short distance off the main road past Kerikeri, you find an ample carpark, bird song, trees, and the growl of the waterfall only a few minutes gentle stroll away. You can see it from the top, looking down, shouting over the roar... More

We really enjoyed our trip here, with a 3 year old in tow it was perfect to not have to walk too far to see the waterfalls. Go a bit further round to see the second viewpoint, which is even better than the first!

The falls are beautiful especially after the litlle hike in the forest. I recommend to do the hike , it s better than just parking the car and take a 5 min look at the falls, you will enjoy it a better after wearing a little bit. The place is also very quiet and if you are lucky like I... More

They have some beautiful nature walks here, through the bush and up along the river. The waterfall is amazing too. If you're not afraid to get wet, you can walk in behind the waterfall, it's a little hard to get behind there but worth it.
