Whole heartedly recommend this bird zoo. Spend an hour or so learning about the parrots while holding and feeding them. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff too.

An awesome place, blown away as soon as we entered. The time and energy sent taming all exhibits so the public can interact with almost every bird was mind blowing. We went to look and purchase a parrot and were that impressed we will be going back. Thank you for a wonderful couple of hours.

The best parrot collections in the Far North of North Island, New Zealand. Hidden in a small town of Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands. Entertaining parrots- macaws, conures, ringnecks, cockatiels, finches etc. Friendly staff & knowledgable on parrot informations. Entertaining tamed parrots that crawls on on finger up to your shoulder. Then, say cheez -- picture perfect! Kids will... More

A Cool moment in this aviary (could be bigger though) when the parrots eat seeds out of your hands and fly on your shoulders!

What a well kept park, birds in a wonderful condition, cages very clean. Parrots were beautiful, loved the walk in cages.

A great experience, the kids had a ball and enjoyed handling the birds. The children's playground at the rear was an unexpected bonus.

We had a wonderful time admiring the beautiful birds at The Parrot Place! Plenty of interaction and the ability to make friends with a variety of different, highly colourful species. We particularly liked the aviary that contained the finches and canaries, which involved sitting quietly to being these timid smaller birds from their leafy hiding places. Great value for money...
