Saw this on tripadvisor and stopped in - glad we did. What great fun. We spent at least 30mins playing with some parrots and being thoroughly entertained by their clever antics and cheeky personalities. Walked through the remainder of the property feeding the birds in the aviary. You dont have to be a bird-lover - this place would suit anybody.... More

Not sure what I was expecting. At first I thought $10 per head was a bit steep and didn't want to pay and extra $2 for bird food, but once we went through and met the beautiful and friendly birds we just had to get involved. Elmo the Macaw was a star, and a prima-donna but the littler parrots were... More

We recently visited this attraction in January 2016 on the way from Russell to Coopers Beach. It was a lovely afternoon with several hours spent there feeding, holding and interacting with the variety of birds. Weather was mixed but was still a great experience. Hosts are nice, friendly and informative. We recommend it to anyone interested in birds but also... More

Very interactive with the option to hold and touch a variety of different breeds. All of the birds appeared very well looked after and loved. During our week stay in paihia we visited the parrot place... More

We have lived around the corner from this wonderful place for quite a while now and have finally visited today, we took some visitors with us and had a really nice few hours. We thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with some amazing parrots, the kids didn't want to leave as they each had favourite birds which they had sitting on their... More

We have visited this attraction 2 years ago and again in January 2016. Great to see the place has not fallen into disrepair. The gardens are well kept, which I understand is no mean feat in itself and the birds are certainly well looked after. There are a variety of birds at the start of the walk which visitors can... found out about this place by chance and glad i did. One of my highlights on our trip. $10.00 pp to get in and $2.00 to purchase food to feed the birds with. They are so friendly and colourful. You get to hold some of the birds. Walk though some of the enclosures. Lots of different birds as well, i... More
