The Croydon Golf Club was established in 1925 at its former Dorset Road site and over the years has earned the reputation of being the premier golf club in the eastern suburbs. Relocated in June 2008 to its Yering Meadows site the new facility presents a stunning 27 hole Ross Watson designed course. Yering Meadows is a Golf Course with accommodation. The surrounds are very picturesque. I attended for lunch with 3 friends. The Cafe/Restaurant is very comfortable, roomy and quiet, the view out over the Ranges is spectacular. The menu is varied, the prices are reasonable, we all enjoyed our meals which were beautifully presented and delicious. Special mention to the service,... More

The Croydon Golf Course relocated to Yering Meadows in 2008 at which time a new 27 hole course was created. Regrettable, after nearly 7 years the course is not up to scratch given the green fees charged. The fare ways are decidedly shabby although the greens are fine. For the average golfer the fareways are very unforgiving. They tend to... More

This is my second review for Yering Meadows. This time we enjoyed a delicious 3 course dinner in one of their private function rooms. The menu was generous in its choices and the quality of the food served was fantastic. Service was equally excellent. A lovely evening enjoyed by all.

Very large open facility with good layout. Course condition was disappointing for a Private Club demanding a high fee. Bunkers were different from hole to hole. Club house is large and imposing. Staff served as required. Overall the club needs to lift its game. Seems to have dropped the ball.

Our Social club played on Saturday, and not one of the 24 members played to their handicap! There was also a Club Championship starting in the afternoon, so we were given the "hurry-up" whilst playing. It's also pretty expensive compared with other courses, and the water hazards were difficult. Clubhouse facilities were excellent.

We had the Sunday seafood carvery lunch here which was really good. There was plenty of seafood and it was lovely and the rest of the carvery was good also. The views from the restaurant are gorgeous, you look over the golf club and the staff are friendly and helpful. Apparently the Sunday High Tea is lovely so we will... More

My husband and I were given a gift voucher for high tea at Yering Meadows for Christmas, since the voucher was only for the two of us we inquired as to whether children were welcome, which of course they are and at half price if under 12. We were greeted and seated promptly by a very friendly member of staff... More

Attractive venue for an afternoon tea, have played golf here, long course and can be difficult for an average golfer. Typical Links course, sparse cover from the elements.

Croydon golf club, very new with nice well keep grounds. We went there on a wet and cold Sunday for lunch and a beer or two. There were not a lot of people there, but the food was great and plenty of it, and the beer was cold. The service from the lady's looking after us was great as well.... More
