I have been only three times in Culebrita. It is very difficult to get access to island but it is well worth the trip. This is one of the (if not the most) beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico. The baths are special and if you manage to go to other side of island (thu tunnel of brush/hedge/branches will find a... More

Beautiful beach, but an expensive excursion just to go to another beach. Cannot climb light house - too dangerous!

We decided to charter a boat and check out Culebrita this vacation after hearing so much about it last time we visited in December. On the south side of the island the were plenty of reefs to go snorkeling. A short 10 minute hike brought us to the opposite end of the island where Tortuga Beach is. Tortuga was basically... More

My wife read about Culebre Island in a travel magazine and while we were vacationing in San Juan decided to go there. Which ain't easy. One can go by ferry at $2.25 per person but it involves an hour taxi ride to and from the port at a cost of $80 each way. Seems that getting on the ferry can... More

This is the most beautiful place I have ever been to. It is amazing. The snorkeling is some of the best I've ever done. It is as good as what I see scuba diving. The island is filled with hermit crabs. Some a super large. The beach is beyond spectacular!!!! I MUST SEE!!!

A short hike across the island leads to Tortuga beach. It is absolutely beautiful and a must see if you are staying on Culebra. We left our cooler on one side and just hiked across to spend time on Tortuga.

My wife and I, along with 3 others took a water taxi with Willy over from Culebra on Feb 11th! I highly recommend Willy's Water taxi as is very fun to hang out with, provides beverages, and was always on time! He dropped us off around 11 and picked us up at 5:30. This allowed us plenty of time to... More
