What a day to remember for my Fiance and I. Before our trip to PR I called the ferry terminal offices several times to purchase tickets in advance, however, no one was available at their offices. Which is ridiculous!!! Our day started out early waiting online for tickets in Fajardo. I was totally aware that we needed to arrive early... more

If you are in your happy 20 years, you have to make your trip on season. Days like the locals called "semana santa", (mostly on spring break), july 4, july 25, we can say the whole summer, are days for young people who want to spent day and night drinking, singing and dancing the whole night with tropical rythms played... more

Wow, was this beach beautiful!!! It’s a must see. It was totally worth the adventure to get there. The water is so clear you can see to bottom and we could see fish swimming around our legs. Trust me with this one: FLY there! It's $35 one-way to fly from Ceiba to Culebra in a 2 engine prop with air... more

We visited May 8, 2009. I'll give an overview of our whole day in case it helps in your planning. We got to the Fajardo ferry terminal at 8 AM as advised by the tourbooks. There is 'official' parking for $5 and some change, and a few other private lots for maybe a buck less. We opted to park in... more

This is the best beach I have ever been, it has everything: perfect for scuba diving, snorkeling "thousands of fish", white sand and crystal clear water. Also it has an area for camping - yes with water and restrooms. I can't finish without mention the puertorican food available in its surroundings. Sadly it was use by the army and still... more

This is by far the most beautiful beach I have been to. You can read the paper underwater it is that clear. Be warned the ferry ride over can be rough. Many people were sea sick. Take your motion sickness pills if you go. We packed our lunch and I am glad we did because the small vendors were not... more

I'm not much of a beach person, but this place is ridiculous. My wife and I visited and the end of PR's off-season, meaning we were alone for an hour one morning on this beach which is considered one of the top 2 or 3 in the world. If you can, make an effort to get there to enjoy the... more

I went on vacation with my family and we decided to give Flamingo beach at Culebra a try and I am glad we did. Flamingo beach has got to be the most beautiful beach I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of beaches! We took the ferry from Fajardo and just spent the day. It was a... more
