This review is based on my experience at the bar portion of Mamacitas. We did not eat in the restaurant but did have drinks. As a repeat diner at this restaurant for more than six years, I feel that I can adequately judge the "new" atmosphere that seemingly now exists at Mamacitas. This used to be one of my favorite... Loved the atmosphere here. The food and service was excellent. We had snapper and it was delicious. Other tables near us were saying the same about the food. Watch your check though as they did overcharge us and the table next to us.

The atmosphere was really nice and the service was awesome! The only problem was to memorize the menu but the waitresses were really nice to tell you the specialties! It was kind of pricey but the view and the fishes were really nice! The pork chop that my husband tried was absolutely amazing and my tuna tataki really nice too!... More

We chose this place because it was much quieter and less rowdy than the other bar/restaurants in the area. It was right on the water and we enjoyed watching the tarpon swimming in the water right next to our table, which could be seen due to the underwater lights placed along the restaurant. You have to practically memorize the menu,... More

cool restaurant, cool atmosphere, terrible prices and terrible service. wait staff had attitude of superiority and were not pleasant at all. they are also the only place on the whole island where you cannot take photos. i would recommend this place only to people that i don't like.

My husband, son and I went to Mamacita's for dinner. I thought the prices were steep and that 8 choices for dinner was not many. I ended up with the carrot soup and house salad. It was ok. My husband got the salmon and said it was also ok. The service was painfully slow. The restroom floors were wet and... More

This place is one of the few choices for food in Culebra. The staff is very polite and check on your needs all the time. The limited offer menu needs to be taken care of.Not many choices and of course that leads to eating because you have to and need to.That very point is what I object!

One of the highlights last year when my we came to Culabra was eating lunch at Mamacitas and watching the iguanas craw out of the water, up onto the dock and eat the scraps off the ledge along the water. and.. the food and drinks were very good. We brought the kdis back this year and took them to see... More

Ordered the seafood rice which was absolutely outstanding. The tuna was good as well. The service was a bit slow. All in all a great meal.
