Crash boat is convenient with vendors selling pinchos (kabobs) and bacalaitos (cod fritters) and drinks, but other beaches such as Shacks or Jobos are more scenic. Crash boat is the safer place to swim in Aguadilla though.

Nice little (around 30ft) dive with tropical fish, sea turtles, eels, etc. Underwater there is a bicycle that is secured down which is nice for taking pictures on and there are plenty of underwater fixtures with a variety of corals, anemone, etc. Great little beach to get a few shore dives in a single day. Definitely worth jumping in with... More

So glad we stopped to relax at Crashboat beach. Parking was easy (weekday) and the views were stunning. It's a very clean beach- great for walking, swimming, sunbathing (there is also a good amount of shade for the fair-skinned like me!), or, for the adventurous, jumping off the pier.

We loved the water that was crystal clear, the pinchos/kabobs at Marias delicious but liter everywhere and a long walk to park and very crowded.

Soft sand, crystal clear water, pier to jump off of, local food vendors, showers to wash off, drinks out of a coconut, shady pavilions, easy parking...what else could you ask for?! Definitely a go!

We came here to shore dive the pier. We rented equipment from Aquatica Dive & Surf shop. It was a pretty good shore dive although it's quite a swim to the end of the pier. Some of the pier is still standing but there are also pylons under the water that most can't see. Looks like the pier used to... More

I had read about this beach in all the tourist magazines. It is close to local hotels in Aguadilla and somewhat of a surfer's hot spot. My friend brought me here for the first time, on this year's trip to PR. The unique feature of this beach is that local fishermen take their small engine powered row boats (or Crash... More

Crash Boat beach was one of the first beaches that we went to in Puerto Rico. It definitely raised the bar for us in terms of beaching. Parking was $3 dollars, and it was already quite crowded by the time we got there around 11 in the morning. The beach was crowded with more locals than tourists, nonetheless we had... More

Crashboat is a beautiful beach in Aguadilla. The sand is soft, the water is clear blue, and it has small waves and mellow current. Tip: Behind the little outdoor bar is a fish market where the crashboat fisherman sell their fresh catches. We bought fish from there twice, and picked up some excellent local tuna, mahi 'dorado', and snapper 'chio'.... More

One of the nicest beaches in the mainland. The water is crystal clear and blue. The food consession truck sells great spanish cuisine for very affordable.
