The beach is protected with relatively calm water. The water was clear, blue and a perfect temperature. There were several palm trees that provided needed shade mid-day. The only downside was the sand, which was full of cigarette butts and bottle tops, despite many trashcans.

This was one of my favorite beaches I visited in Puerto Rico. I was surprised at how quiet and relaxing it was. It was nice to go somewhere where there were not a ton of people, mostly locals. There was plenty of room to find a nice spot and enjoy the quiet relaxation. The water is really calm, and crystal-clear.... More

a very fun atmosphere. especially on weekends when it's loaded with locals and city folks there for some R&R. Kids had a blast jumping in the waves. Lots of beach space. lots of music and food. we were staying at a condo in Aquadilla, and would come down to crashboat to get pinchots (skewers) and take them back to the... More

Waves were small and so looked safe for swimming but the beach itself felt like a boombox-ey beer drinking type place...so if you like that sort of thing...that being said, we went to the fish market and his fish was fresh fresh fresh (its like a co-op_ and cheap cheap cheap! Would go back for that for sure..but ill apss... More

The beach was suggested to us by locals, as they thought that the waves near Isabela would be too big the week that we were visiting. It was wonderful. The water was clear, and the waves were big, but not so big as to be intimidating. Lots of kids were playing by the water's edge and many people were swimming.... More

We stayed just up the hill from Crashboat. It is a good place to get in the water and cool off. Calm waves.Lots of vendors to get food and drinks from. See Tim the Sticker king for your souveniers.

Family friendly, awesome swimming and snorkeling. Drinks and food sold by the locals. Parking is free in the second lot.

The views are gorgeous from this beach. Visitors tend to leave trash around. The water is very clear and warm.

If you are into surfing go here, but it is not as easy to walk the beach as Jobos Beach. Some old peers are still standing over the years. Maybe on the weekend it gets busier

Food vendors available. No life guards but floats designating swimming area. You can also snorkel near the piers, quite a distance from the beach, but watch out for jet skis. Feral dogs roam the island, hard for us to get used to, they seek food, do not seem to be any kind of threat.
