Great place for a nice shore dive. We have been here before and made a point to come back. We had a 10 hour stop on our cruise and decided to make the trip to dive here again. Nice soft sand for non-divers and an enjoyable array of fish and coral for the dive. The sunset was spectacular and the... More

The sand is soft. The water was the perfect temperature. Be ready for the constant waves. The food was great!!! Vendors were are friendly. Parking can be rough, or you can pay $3 in front of the beach parking to avoid having to wait for a spot.

If your looking for a true Puerto Rican adventure look no further. Parking can be rough (in true Puerto Rican style). Dont let that detour you. Swimming is great here, with no real waves even beginners will feel safe. Snorkeling around the peir is alright. Adventure north and there are a couple of small yet rewarding spots. The food is... The sand is soft and clean and the waves are calm making it a great beach for kids. I visited this beach on Christmas day 2014 and there were plenty of food trucks available. Lots of pina coldas and frappe's! The only thing down side was the bathrooms were closed, but that was probably b/c of the holiday. We were... More

Went scuba diving here then had lunch on the beach. Look for the Pelican guy, he has pet pelicans. Don't worry, these birds are not caged. They fly around but they come back to look for him AND respond to their names! If you buy a necklace from him he will even let you take a selfie with one of... More

Relaxing, mellow on the day after Xmas. Lots of families. I imagine things are different if there's a good N or NW swell and the surf is up. Great place to spend the day.

This is a beautiful calm beach. It was a little crowded the day we were there, Christmas Day, and it was hard to find a parking space. But, it was fun to watch people jumping off the piers. The water is clear and calm, a gret place to go if you want to do some swimming.

Just got back from visiting back home with my parents in Aguada. A 10 minute drive brings me to this amazing beach where I learned how to swim as a teenager. The parking can be a bit of a challenge when local and tourists are visiting but overall ok. There is a Pina Colada truck that makes the amazing basic... More

this great beach is located at the northwestern corner of Puerto Rico, far away from the ruckus of the capital, San Juan. It has a few restaurants on the way to the beach. The beach has a nice pier where you can practice you diving.

We enjoyed the sandy beach and calm waters, but most importantly watching the fishing boats crash up onto the sand to dock. Great food stands with pina coladas, empanadillas and other treats. We will go back again before leaving PR.
